V/H/S/Beyond — October 4
V/H/S/Beyond is the seventh film in the V/H/S anthology franchise and was announced as a Shudder Original. Shudder described it as six new tapes built around science-fiction-inspired horror. The listed segments were “Stork,” “Fur Babies,” “Live and Let Dive,” “Dream Girl,” “Stowaway,” and a special presentation by Jay Cheel.

Its premise points toward isolated-house horror, grief, and creature design rather than anthology or slasher structure.
Best fit: viewers who want a contained, unsettling story built around bereavement and an uncanny creature.
MadS — October 18
The Shudder Original MadS follows 18-year-old Romain after he tries a new drug and encounters a badly injured woman while traveling to a party. The night’s escalating horrors leave open whether he is experiencing a disastrous drug trip, a supernatural event, or both.

The Exorcism arrived as a Shudder exclusive, not a Shudder Original. Russell Crowe plays Anthony Miller, an actor whose behavior deteriorates while he is filming a supernatural horror movie. His estranged daughter must consider whether addiction and personal trauma explain the changes—or whether a supernatural force is involved.
