Evernorth Holdings Inc. plans to move beyond simply holding XRP. In an October 14, 2026 announcement, the Nasdaq-listed company named Ripple, Kraken, Coinbase and BitGo as its inaugural institutional execution partners for a 473 million XRP treasury valued at approximately $648 million at current prices, according to The Block.
Evernorth says institutional strategies will begin in the fourth quarter of 2026. The company’s stated aim is to generate earnings from its holdings and increase XRP held per share, while potentially expanding later into XRP Ledger lending, on-chain credit and decentralized-finance markets.

What Evernorth announced
Evernorth said it will both accumulate and deploy XRP through institutional strategies rather than leave the treasury entirely passive. Asheesh Birla, Evernorth’s founder and chief executive, described the approach simply: “We’re putting our treasury to work.”
The announcement names Ripple, Kraken, Coinbase and BitGo as the company’s first institutional execution counterparties. Evernorth presents the group as infrastructure providers suitable for a public company, citing institutional licensing, capitalization, operational controls, reporting and counterparty standards. It does not assign a separate mandate to any one of the four firms.

The Block reported that the treasury’s XRP was worth approximately $648 million at then-current prices. That is a market-value estimate, not a cash budget or a guarantee of what Evernorth will recover when it trades or lends the asset.
Evernorth shares began trading on the Nasdaq Global Market under the ticker XRPN on October 8, 2026, following its business combination with Armada Acquisition Corp. II. The treasury plan therefore arrives as part of a newly public-company operating model rather than as an informal crypto-holding announcement.
How the deployment plan is structured
Phase one: institutional execution
Evernorth says it will start with established counterparties and begin these strategies in Q4 2026. The partners are intended to provide the execution, controls and reporting framework needed to manage a large, concentrated digital-asset treasury under public-company oversight.

Hugo Jeandesboz, Evernorth’s chief investment officer, framed the operating requirement this way: “The question for any treasury is not whether it can hold an asset, but whether it can manage one.” He added that the company wants “a treasury strategy, a risk framework and counterparties you would be comfortable explaining to a public-company board.”
Phase two: XRP Ledger credit markets
After the initial institutional setup, Evernorth says it intends to consider direct allocations to XRP Ledger native lending, on-chain credit and decentralized-finance strategies. Those activities are conditional: the relevant capabilities must be activated by validators and demonstrated in production before the company allocates capital to them.
This makes the second phase dependent on both technical availability and operational proof. Evernorth has not given a launch date for those markets.

The earnings and XRP-per-share objective
The strategy is designed to make the treasury productive. Evernorth says it wants earnings from deployment and growth in XRP holdings per share, rather than measuring success only by the number of tokens held in absolute terms. The announcement provides no realized earnings, yield rate or XRP-per-share results because deployment has not yet begun.

Who the four partners are in Evernorth’s plan
All four companies are described as inaugural institutional execution partners. Evernorth has not disclosed which firm will custody a particular balance, execute a particular strategy or receive a specified percentage of the treasury.

The important disclosed point is the selection of a multi-counterparty institutional framework. The announcement does not establish that the four firms will perform identical functions, nor does it publish contractual terms, fees, custody limits or execution volumes.

Those omissions matter because a 473 million XRP treasury can produce very different risk and income profiles depending on whether capital is traded, lent, pledged as collateral or kept in custody. Without allocation data, shareholders cannot calculate exposure to any one counterparty or compare expected income with the risks taken to earn it.

These risks are especially relevant because the treasury is concentrated in a single token. A productive strategy can add income, but it can also introduce counterparty, liquidity, smart-contract and operational exposures that passive custody would not have.
