The OBEGS601 is a built-in electric oven sold by Everdure. Everdure New Zealand lists it as a 77 L model with five functions. The product specification document describes a 120-minute mechanical timer, a triple-glazed door and a large viewing window. It also lists a chrome wire shelf and a deep baking tray with grill insert. These are documented features, not evidence of temperature accuracy, cooking evenness or long-term durability. The 3 mm difference in both height and width can matter when an oven is being fitted into a tight opening. Check the current installation instructions for the exact unit being sold, and compare them with the cabinet opening and ventilation clearances before ordering. Do not assume that the oven’s nominal “60 cm” category supplies the cut-out dimensions.

Does the OBEGS601 need an electrician?
The instruction document gives an electrical specification of 220–240 V AC, 50 Hz, a 10 A connection and 2000 W maximum rated input. It recommends installation by a licensed electrician in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions and applicable requirements. Everdure’s New Zealand product page describes the oven as plug-and-play, but that marketing description does not establish that every home, plug arrangement or local jurisdiction permits installation without an electrician. Check the unit’s current instructions and local rules before installation.
What warranty does the Everdure OBEGS601 have?
The warranty information conflicts. Everdure’s current New Zealand product page, accessed in 2026, says its cooking products have a five-year manufacturer warranty for personal domestic use and excludes commercial use. A third-party reproduction of the OBEGS601/OBEGS602 manual, whose reference indicates 2020, states three years. The manual wording is not proof of the term currently applicable to a particular sale, and the New Zealand page may not govern purchases in other countries.

Before buying, ask Everdure or the seller to confirm the warranty that applies to your country, purchase date and intended use, and retain the answer with your proof of purchase. Warranty terms can depend on market and use, so do not assume the five-year New Zealand statement applies everywhere.
