The Euromaid BG14BM is a discontinued, full-size freestanding dishwasher rated for 14 place settings. Its 2021 specification sheet lists eight programs, a 30-minute cycle and active-ventilation drying, but those specifications do not establish how well it cleans or dries in independent testing. CHOICE marks the model discontinued and its public listing does not disclose detailed test results. If you are considering one, confirm its condition, availability, installation fit and warranty terms for that specific unit.
What kind of dishwasher is the BG14BM?
The BG14BM is a freestanding dishwasher with a black-glass front. Euromaid lists capacity at 14 place settings and dimensions of 598 mm wide × 600 mm deep × 850 mm high. CHOICE lists rounded dimensions of 85 × 60 × 60 cm, consistent with the manufacturer’s figures.

Which programs and features are listed?
Euromaid’s specification sheet lists these eight programs:
#1 Best Overall
- Read Before You Buy — No Video Output: These adapters support charging and USB 2.0 data transfer, but cannot transmit video signals. Except for standard USB webcams (which use USB data only), they are not compatible with HDMI/DisplayPort cables, video-capable USB-C hubs, or docking stations with video output.
- Convert USB-A Ports to USB-C: Designed to connect USB-C earphones, cables, flash drives, card readers, and other USB-C accessories to standard USB-A ports. Plug-and-play with no drivers or software required.
- Aluminum Alloy Housing: Built with a sturdy aluminum alloy shell that aids in heat dissipation and protects against daily wear and scratches. Designed to maintain a stable and secure connection.
- Compact & Travel-Friendly: The ultra-compact design allows the adapter to stay plugged into your device without blocking adjacent ports or adding bulk, reducing wear and tear on your original USB ports.
- 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.
- Prewash
- 30min
- eco45
- Quick 60°C
- Intensive 70°C
- Hygiene 70°C
- Mix wash+ 70°C
- Auto 45–65°C
Other listed features include a 9-hour delay start, half-load option, tablet function, adjustable loaded upper basket and active-ventilation drying. The sheet also states a noise level of 43 dBA. These are manufacturer specifications, not independent measurements of cleaning, drying or noise in use.
What do the energy and water figures mean?
CHOICE lists claimed consumption of 312 kWh per year and 11.2 L of water, alongside a 3-star energy rating and 5-star water rating. Euromaid’s specification sheet also gives 3 stars for energy and 5 stars for water. The public information cited here does not provide measured consumption results, so treat the numerical consumption figures as claims rather than independently verified test findings.

Is the BG14BM discontinued, and can you still buy one?
CHOICE marks the BG14BM as discontinued. That status does not establish whether a particular retailer or seller still has a unit; stock and condition need to be checked directly. CHOICE’s listing gives a historical price of $1,099, not a current selling price.
CHOICE identifies the WG14BM as identical apart from colour, which may help when checking same-family specifications. It does not substitute for confirming the exact model number, condition and installation details of a unit offered for sale.

Does it have a five-year warranty?
Not for the whole appliance, according to Euromaid’s 2021 specification sheet. It states a 2-year parts-and-labour appliance warranty and separately describes a brushless motor with a 5-year warranty. The five-year statement applies to the motor, not the entire dishwasher. Warranty coverage can depend on the unit and purchase date, so check the terms attached to the specific appliance.
What is known about cleaning and drying performance?
The specification sheet describes features and cycles, but these do not establish real-world results. CHOICE’s public BG14BM page lists specification information while keeping detailed wash, drying and energy test results behind member access. The public material therefore does not support a claim that the dishwasher cleans or dries particularly well, nor a performance ranking against other models.
