Floors

The window tool or squeegee is intended for suitable glass. Do not steam cracked glass, cold glass that could suffer thermal shock, or frames and seals that the manufacturer says should not be exposed to steam.

Washable surfaces and soft furnishings
Euroflex describes the kit as suitable for washable surfaces and refreshing soft furnishings. That wording is not a guarantee for every textile, upholstery treatment or dyed material. Check the care label, test an inconspicuous patch and use the lowest practical exposure. Steam can drive moisture into padding and may affect finishes even when the outer fabric appears washable.
Safe filling, pressure release and operation
The boiler is pressurised, so refilling is the most safety-critical part of using the machine. The manufacturer’s manual states: “Only add tap water or demineralised water to boiler.” It prohibits detergent, perfume, oil and other chemicals. In hard-water areas, demineralised water is advised to reduce mineral deposits.
- Switch off the cleaner and unplug it. Do not begin a refill while the appliance is operating or connected to power.
- Release the remaining pressure. Follow the manual’s pressure-release procedure and wait until steam is no longer emitted. Never force the cap while pressure remains.
- Allow the boiler to cool for at least five minutes. The manual warns that the cap, escaping steam and hot water can cause burns.
- Open the cap only after pressure has been released and cooling time has passed. Keep your face and hands away from the opening in case residual heat or water remains.
- Add only tap water or demineralised water. Use the supplied funnel and avoid overfilling; excess water can be discharged and wet the surface being cleaned.
- Close the cap securely. Check that it is seated as instructed before reconnecting power.
- Never switch the cleaner on with an empty boiler. Running empty can damage the appliance and creates an unsafe operating condition.
- Attach the correct accessory. Use manufacturer-recommended accessories and spare parts, and fit the microfibre pad before using the floor brush.
Keep the steam jet away from people, animals, plants and electrical or household appliances. Steam can burn skin and damage electronics, finishes and moisture-sensitive materials even when the surface looks robust.
Maintenance and replacement parts
Mineral deposits are the main maintenance concern identified in the instructions. Demineralised water can reduce deposits in hard-water areas, but it does not remove the need to follow the manual’s cleaning or descaling guidance. Do not add descaling chemicals, fragrance or detergent to the boiler unless the manual supplied with your exact unit explicitly permits a procedure; the cited instructions say not to add chemicals.

Microfibre pads and brushes are consumable parts. The manual says replacement pads and brushes can be obtained from the original retailer or electrical-appliance retailers, while other accessories can be replaced by contacting Euroflex.
