The dates and access details come from a community roadmap summary, rather than an official announcement independently confirmed here.
When does Season 2 start?
A community summary of the 2026 roadmap reports that Season 2’s solo-dungeon feature is scheduled to start on October 21, 2026. It names Moon Hunter Keep and March of Sacrifices as the first dungeons in the feature. The summary does not establish a broader Season 2 launch date beyond this feature’s reported start.

When do Greymoor and Markarth become part of the base game?
The same roadmap summary places the Greymoor and Markarth base-game change on November 9, 2026—not October 21. It associates the addition with access to Antiquities, Scrying, and Excavation. The summary does not specify the exact entitlement rules for those activities or content.

Could someone clarify access to zones?
The reported change says Greymoor and Markarth will become part of the base game, but that phrase alone does not answer every access question. The available details do not settle how the change applies across platforms, account statuses, subscriptions, prior ownership, or other purchase circumstances. An ESO forum discussion of the 2026 reveal reflects player interpretations of the rollout, but does not provide a precise official access notice.

October 21 and November 9 are dates reported in a community roadmap summary. They should be treated as planned milestones, not independently confirmed release guarantees: the available sources do not include the underlying official ESO announcement or patch notes. Check official ESO communications for confirmation and any updated timing or entitlement details.
