Will the EBM325W fit your kitchen?
Cabinet dimensions
The 595mm width is close to the nominal 600mm space used by many Australian kitchen layouts, but a 600mm opening is not automatically sufficient. The refrigerator must be levelled, the doors must swing without striking a wall or cabinet, and air must be able to circulate as specified by the manual. The published cabinet depth is 687mm and the height is 1724mm; handles, hinges, door curvature and any required rear or side gaps can make the installed footprint larger than those numbers.
Clearance and door access
The supplied evidence does not establish a single universal clearance number for every installation condition. Use the clearance diagrams and instructions in the manual rather than treating the cabinet dimensions as the complete space requirement. Measure the route from delivery point to the kitchen as well as the final recess: doors, hallways, lifts and benchtop overhangs can be tighter than the appliance opening. Check ceiling height for tilting during installation and leave enough room to remove shelves or drawers for cleaning and servicing.
Capacity in practical terms
The 235L refrigerator section is the larger portion, while the 90L freezer is below it. That arrangement puts frequently accessed fresh food at a more convenient height than a top-freezer design. The split is better suited to households that use more fresh food than frozen storage. A household that batch-cooks, stores large frozen packages or buys in bulk should compare freezer capacity rather than relying on the 325L headline figure.

What features does Esatto claim?
Frost-free freezer
Esatto describes the unit as frost free, meaning its cooling system is designed not to build up frost that requires manual defrosting. That is a convenience feature, not proof of a particular temperature stability or food-preservation result. Frost-free systems still need unobstructed air vents and sensible loading; blocking vents can create uneven temperatures in any refrigerator.
Inverter compressor
An inverter compressor is specified, but the listing does not provide a noise figure, duty-cycle measurement or independent electricity test. Inverter technology can vary compressor speed instead of operating only at one fixed speed, yet the presence of an inverter does not by itself establish how quiet, efficient or durable this particular refrigerator is in a home.
Digital temperature control
Digital controls give you a setpoint interface rather than a dial marked with approximate numbers. The product information does not establish the control’s accuracy, display location or whether separate refrigerator and freezer temperatures are independently adjustable. Energy use: what the four-star label and 277kWh figure mean
Esatto lists a four-star MEPS energy rating. CHOICE’s model page lists claimed annual consumption of 277kWh and identifies 2025 as the test year. The 277kWh number is a labelled or claimed annual figure under a standard rating method; it is not a promise that every household will use exactly that amount.

To estimate running cost, multiply 277 by your electricity tariff in dollars per kWh. For example, at a tariff of $0.30/kWh, the labelled estimate would be about $83.10 per year (277 × 0.30), but that is an illustration using your tariff, not a measured EBM325W bill. Check your electricity statement for the correct rate and remember that tariffs, supply charges and actual refrigerator use differ.
Do not treat the four stars as a quality or reliability grade. Energy stars address energy consumption under the labelling scheme; they do not rate cooling uniformity, noise, sealing, service life or repairability.

That distinction matters when interpreting a “review.” Manufacturer specifications establish what Esatto says the product includes. A retailer listing establishes the terms and stock information shown by that retailer. A customer-rating average is feedback from purchasers, not a controlled comparison. None of those sources substitutes for the hidden CHOICE scores or a published independent test report.
Warranty and after-sales support
Two-year domestic coverage
The EBM325W manual and Appliances Online listing state a two-year warranty. Appliances Online describes its listing as covering domestic parts and labour. Warranty scope can depend on the seller, installation, location, proof of purchase and the version of the terms in force when you buy, so retain the invoice and confirm the current conditions with the seller before purchase.
Parts enquiries
The manual directs parts enquiries to Residentia Group after-sales support. The available information does not establish which parts are currently stocked, their prices, compatibility with later production runs or expected delivery times. When contacting support, provide the exact EBM325W model, serial number, purchase date and a clear description or photograph of the required part. Use the contact route and details in the manual, and ask the seller who is responsible for a warranty repair if the retailer and manufacturer give different instructions.

If you find a new or clearance unit, ask the seller to confirm that it is the exact EBM325W, whether it is factory-sealed or ex-display, who will honour the two-year warranty, and whether delivery damage or missing shelves is covered. Do not assume that an old listing means stock is available or that a replacement part will be obtainable indefinitely.
Questions to ask a seller before paying
- Is the refrigerator physically in stock, and what is the dispatch date?
- Is it new, refurbished, ex-display or a customer return?
- Which written warranty applies, and does it include domestic parts and labour?
