定期使用 eMule 通常不必手动刷新服务器列表：官方 FAQ 说明，客户端默认设置会在日常使用中维护列表。若连接失败，先核对列表是否较新、检查防火墙和路由器是否阻挡流量，并确认没有启用“仅自动连接到静态服务器”而缺少有效的静态服务器文件。服务器列表不会让 eMule 匿名；官方项目 FAQ 明确指出，对等传输会让连接对端看到客户端 IP。
eMule 服务器的作用是什么？
eMule 是免费的开源 P2P 文件共享客户端，使用 ED2K 和 Kademlia 网络，并支持来源交换。服务器用于连接和搜索，但并非获取文件来源的唯一途径；客户端之间也可以交换来源信息。官方 FAQ 的结论是：“There is no fastest or best server.”（不存在最快或最好的服务器。）该 FAQ 由 Monk 署名，更新于 2003 年 9 月 3 日。查看 eMule 官方服务器 FAQ。

哪里获取可信的服务器列表？
目前不能据现有官方资料推荐一个已验证仍在维护、可信且安全的现行列表提供方。官方服务器 FAQ 曾列出 ed2k.has.it，并说明可点击“Add to eMule”添加；但该页面更新于 2003 年 9 月 3 日，这只能证明它曾被列为来源，不能证明该站点今天仍在线、由可信方维护或安全。不要把它当作当前官方认证列表。

需要多久更新一次服务器列表？
如果 eMule 正常使用，通常不需要每次启动或每次会话都手动刷新。官方 FAQ（2003 年 9 月 3 日更新）称，定期使用时默认设置会维护列表。连接出现问题时，再检查列表是否较新；旧 FAQ 没有为当前版本提供一个普遍适用的更新频率。官方 FAQ：服务器列表更新。
eMule 无法连接时如何排错？
- 检查列表状态。确认客户端中有可用服务器，并在连接问题持续时核对列表是否较新。不要仅凭旧 FAQ 中的地址判断当前列表来源可靠。
- 检查静态服务器选项。如果启用了“Autoconnect to static servers only”（仅自动连接到静态服务器），确认静态服务器文件
staticservers.dat中确实有有效条目；否则客户端可能没有可连接的静态服务器。 - 检查防火墙、路由器及其他网络软件。核对这些设备或软件是否阻止了客户端当前配置使用的流量。应以 eMule 本机显示的端口和实际网络设备设置为准。
- 不要照抄旧端口示例。官方旧 FAQ 提及 4662/TCP、4672/UDP 和 4711/TCP，也说明用户可以设置其他客户端端口。这些是历史排错线索，并非适用于所有当前安装、路由器或 ISP 网络的通用配置。查看官方 FAQ 的连接排错说明。
服务器列表能让 eMule 匿名吗？
不能。eMule 项目的一则 FAQ 解释，P2P 传输需要用户之间建立直接连接，因此对端必须知道目标客户端的 IP 地址；该页面的结论是 eMule 并非匿名。页面更新于 2004 年 2 月 27 日，适合作为项目当时对连接机制的说明，不是现代隐私审计，也没有全面评估今天的网络风险。查看 eMule 官方杂项 FAQ。
