Not according to the disclosure. Emcure said it was “in the process of evaluating appropriate legal remedies, including filing an appeal before the Appellate Authority.” That describes an option under consideration, not an appeal confirmed as filed.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone. What is not yet clear about the tax case?
The accessible filing text gives the aggregate penalty and covered years but does not state the amount assigned to each year or explain the specific tax findings and statutory provisions behind the orders. It also does not establish the merits of the dispute, the likelihood of success in any appeal, or the final amount Emcure may ultimately have to pay. The penalty-order total should not be treated as a separately disclosed underlying tax demand or as an amount already paid.
