Elta: Defy All Gods is scheduled to launch on February 2, 2027, for PC via Steam, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. A free opening demo is available on those platforms. It introduces the game’s martial-arts combat, magic and exploration, but Steam says demo saves will not carry over to the full game.
Release date, platforms and price
Focus Entertainment announced an February 2, 2027 launch for PC (Steam), PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. The publisher lists the game at $29.99 in the US and €29.99 in Europe; Steam’s full-game page displays a $29.99 US preorder price. Regional prices and preorder terms may change, so check the relevant store before buying. Focus Entertainment’s announcement has the launch details.
Preorders include Vanguard Armor DLC, a cosmetic skin for protagonist Victus, according to Focus. The publisher estimates a 15–20-hour playthrough; its community FAQ says completionists could spend up to 25 hours. Those are publisher estimates, not independently measured playtime. Focus Together’s FAQ gives the additional completionist estimate.
What the free demo includes
The opening demo is available for PC via Steam, PS5 and Xbox Series. Steam describes its prologue as 45–60 minutes long: Victus retrieves Elta from a temple on the glacial world Lerna, fights corrupted enemies using martial arts and magic, and faces Kan Loa’s Chosen. The publisher’s announcement confirms the demo’s platform availability. Steam’s demo listing describes its contents and duration.

The 45–60-minute estimate is specific to the Steam listing; it is not a guarantee of how long every player will take.
How the game plays
Afterburner Studios describes Elta as an action-platformer mixing free-form melee combat, martial arts, magic, platforming and science-fiction exploration. You play Victus, a warrior monk searching for the lost dragon-god Elta. The studio calls its blend of brawler combat and nonlinear search-action exploration “brawlervania”—its own shorthand, rather than a widely established genre category.

The journey spans three winding science-fiction worlds. Victus has three martial-arts stances and skill trees, along with magic attacks and traversal abilities including a double jump, dash, wall run and grapple. Elta’s abilities are meant to help both in fights and in reaching places that were previously inaccessible. The full-game Steam listing outlines the game’s systems.
Choosing a platform
The announced versions are PC (Steam), PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, and the free demo is available across those platforms. If you have access to more than one, the practical choice may come down to where you prefer to play and, on PS5, whether you want the DualSense controller’s haptic feedback.

Afterburner co-founder and game director Ian Cofino says DualSense haptics give punches and platforming a tactile weight. That is a feature description, not a requirement: the source does not say a particular controller is necessary. Cofino’s PlayStation Blog post discusses the PS5 version.

Steam lists 16 supported interface languages for the demo. Its demo requirements specify Windows 10/11 64-bit, 16 GB of RAM and an SSD. The listed graphics examples are Radeon RX 580 or GeForce GTX 1060 at minimum, and Radeon RX 7700 XT or GeForce RTX 4060 Ti as recommended, alongside performance targets on the listing.

These are requirements for the demo, not confirmed specifications for the full game. Steam says the full game’s system requirements are still to be announced. Check the two Steam pages before relying on the demo specs to judge whether a PC will run the release.
