Wann erscheint Elta: Defy All Gods, und wo ist die Demo verfügbar?
Publisher Focus Entertainment nennt den 2. Februar 2027 als Veröffentlichungstermin für PC über Steam, PlayStation 5 und Xbox Series X|S. Die kostenlose Demo ist seit dem 1. Oktober 2026 auf diesen drei Plattformen erhältlich. Focus Entertainment nennt Termin und Plattformen und Steam führt die Demo.

Der Spielstand aus der Demo wird beim Start der Vollversion nicht übertragen. Steam formuliert die Einschränkung ausdrücklich für den Übergang zur Vollversion zum Veröffentlichungstermin. Das bedeutet: Wer die Demo spielt, sollte damit rechnen, den entsprechenden Abschnitt im vollständigen Spiel erneut zu beginnen; die Aussage besagt nicht, dass der Demo-Spielstand innerhalb der Demo verloren geht. Steam weist außerdem darauf hin, dass die Demo gegenüber dem vollständigen Spiel angepasst wurde. Die Steam-Demoseite ist die direkte Quelle für diese Einschränkung.

Was steckt in der 45- bis 60-minütigen Demo?
Steam veranschlagt für die Demo etwa 45 bis 60 Minuten Spielzeit. Sie beginnt mit Prolog und Tutorial und führt durch die ersten Spielabschnitte: Victus befreit den Drachengott Elta aus einem Tempel, kämpft gegen korrumpierte Gegner und erkundet Lerna, eine eisige Welt mit Ruinen und industriellen Überresten. Der Abschnitt endet mit dem Kampf gegen Kan Loas Auserwählten. Focus beschreibt den Inhalt ebenfalls als weniger als eine Stunde Spielzeit. Steam beschreibt Umfang und Inhalte der Demo; die Dauer ist eine Store-Angabe, keine unabhängige Messung.
Was für ein Spiel ist Elta: Defy All Gods?
Das Action-Platform-Spiel stammt von Afterburner Studios, dem Team hinter Dreamscaper; Focus Entertainment veröffentlicht es. Die Geschichte folgt Victus, einem Krieger aus einer nomadischen Zivilisation, der den verlorenen Drachengott Elta sucht. Die Vollversion führt durch drei Science-Fantasy-Welten. Afterburner nennt den Stil „Brawlervania“: Martial-Arts-Kampf und Magie treffen auf Plattformpassagen und Erkundung. Victus kann drei Kampfkunst-Stile einsetzen; zur Fortbewegung gehören Doppelsprung, Luft-Dash und Wandlauf. Das Team führt unter anderem Castlevania: Symphony of the Night, God of War, Darksiders und Jak and Daxter als Inspirationen an. Für Kampfkunst und Ton nennt es außerdem Dragon Ball Z, die Ip-Man-Filme und Werke der Shaw Brothers.
Preis, Vorbestellerbonus und angekündigte Spieldauer
Focus Entertainment nennt für das Vollspiel einen Preis von 29,99 Euro beziehungsweise 29,99 US-Dollar, eine angekündigte Spieldauer von 15 bis 20 Stunden und den kosmetischen Vanguard-Armor-Skin für Victus als Vorbestellerbonus. Das sind Angaben des Publishers aus dem Jahr 2026, keine unabhängige Preis- oder Spieldauermessung.

Ian Cofino, Mitgründer und Game Director bei Afterburner Studios, schrieb im offiziellen PlayStation-Beitrag: „At every stage of development, we’ve gotten the same feedback: this is a game that must be felt, controller in hand, rather than just watched.“ Er hebt dort auch die DualSense-Haptik hervor: Schläge und Landungen sollen sich taktil gewichtig anfühlen.
