O que é Elixir?
Elixir é uma linguagem de programação criada por José Valim na Plataformatec, em 2012, inicialmente como projeto de pesquisa e desenvolvimento. Ela roda sobre a Erlang Virtual Machine (Erlang VM), plataforma que sua equipe apresenta como base para construir aplicações escaláveis e mantíveis. A versão 1.0 foi lançada em setembro de 2014.
