What kind of oven is the EVEP619DSE?
Electrolux Australia classifies it as a single electric multifunction steam and pyrolytic oven. It is not a double or duo oven. Its listed capacity is 80 L gross and 72 L usable, with 19 cooking functions and a colour TFT touchscreen. What do its steam and air-fry features offer?
SteamRoast
Electrolux describes SteamRoast as conventional oven heat enhanced with steam, intended to brown food on the outside while retaining moisture inside. That is the manufacturer’s description of the intended result, not an independently verified performance finding.
AirFryPlus
The supplied mesh AirFryPlus tray is intended to expose food to circulating hot air. Electrolux says steam is also added during cooking to retain moisture, and describes the result as crisp with little to no oil. These are product claims; the available public evidence does not provide independent comparisons of crispness, cooking speed or oil use.

SteamReheat and the food probe
SteamReheat uses steam to add and retain moisture during reheating, according to Electrolux. The Smart Food Probe monitors the food’s core temperature, and Electrolux says the oven can stop cooking when the chosen temperature is reached. This can be useful when cooking to a target internal temperature, but the product page is not an independent assessment of probe accuracy.
How does pyrolytic cleaning work on this model?
Electrolux lists light, medium and heavy pyrolytic cleaning cycles. Pyrolysis uses high heat to break down cooking residue inside the oven. The manufacturer says the pyro-proof side racks and telescopic runners can remain installed for cleaning, but trays and shelves should be removed. Follow the current manual’s instructions for the cycle and for handling hot or removable parts.

Electrolux lists external dimensions of 596 mm wide × 572 mm deep × 597 mm high, a connected load of 3.1 kW, and a 15 amp plug and lead. External dimensions are not the same as the required cabinet opening. Check the current installation guide for cut-out, clearance and ventilation requirements, and have a qualified installer confirm that the cabinet and electrical supply are suitable before purchase.
