What the published features mean
Maxisense and the cooking layout
Electrolux says Maxisense allows cookware placement flexibility beyond traditional fixed circular zones. The manufacturer lists four 210 mm zones, but the available product-page information does not independently establish how different pan shapes behave on this model. For a particular pot or pan, confirm the usable diameter information and test compatibility where possible.
Controls and cooking functions
The manufacturer lists 14-stage front slide-touch controls, a cooking timer programmable to 99 minutes with an acoustic signal, automatic warm-up, keep-warm, PowerBoost, Stop & Go and automatic switch-off. Safety and status features listed include pan sensors, residual-heat indicators, a fault indicator, safety cut-off, overheating protection, a function lock and a child safety lock. The feature list confirms what Electrolux publishes, not how well each function performs in everyday use.
Rank #2
- Wipe away cleaning time with the induction cooktop: Unlike traditional electric and gas cooktops, Induction only heats the pan and the food in it, so the area around the pan stays cooler to the touch, allowing you to clean up spills and splatters while you cook.
- Get amazingly fast results with induction: With induction, heat transfers directly to the cookware and not the cooktop surface, making induction incredibly fast.
- Avoid over and undercooking your food with TempLock: Sensors in the cooktop automatically adjust the power level to maintain a consistent temperature the entire time you cook - it's like cruise control for your cooktop.
- Maximize cooktop space with the convenient bridge element: Connects two elements to create a larger cooking surface, perfect for a griddle or large pan.
- Even heat delivers consistent results: Induction delivers steady, even heat across the surface of your pan so you get consistent results every time.
PowerBoost rating
The cooktop has a boost function, but Electrolux specifically gives a 3200 W boosted rating only for the left-front zone in the available product specifications. Do not assume that all four zones reach the same boosted output.

Reliability and satisfaction information is marked members-only. The public evidence therefore supports confirming the model’s listing details and discontinued status, but not a claim that it has a particular cooking performance, reliability result or satisfaction rating.

Will it fit your existing cooktop opening?
Compare your benchtop aperture with the specified cutout of 680 × 490 mm. The external dimensions, 710 × 520 × 55 mm, describe the appliance body and are not the opening size. Measure the existing aperture rather than relying on the old cooktop’s nominal width or its visible glass dimensions.

A matching opening alone does not confirm an installation is suitable. The listed 7.4 kW connected load and hardwired connection mean that wiring, circuit capacity, clearances, ventilation and other site conditions need to be assessed for the individual home. Confirm the requirements in Electrolux documentation and have a qualified installer assess the installation; the product listing cannot determine whether your site is suitable.
