The door-open figure is especially important if the refrigerator sits beside a wall, cabinet, or walkway. Confirm the precise hinge and clearance requirements for the unit you are considering; do not assume that the listed cabinet dimensions alone establish a suitable installation.
How much energy does it use?
Electrolux lists a 4.5-star rating and 297 kWh/year under AS/NZS 4474.2:2009. These are declared label figures, not a promise of your actual annual consumption or electricity bill. For a rough energy-cost estimate, multiply 297 by your electricity tariff per kWh; for example, at 30 cents per kWh the arithmetic is 297 × $0.30, or $89.10 per year. Your real use and cost can differ with settings, room conditions, use patterns, and tariff.

Australian Energy Rating guidance says star ratings are most useful when comparing refrigerators of similar capacity and features; the annual kWh figure helps estimate electricity use and cost. Compare appliances on the same label basis rather than treating a 4.5-star result as proof that this large model is more efficient than smaller or differently equipped fridges.
