Its 2020 manual confirms a 3840 × 2160 resolution and 60 Hz refresh rate, while owner feedback on ProductReview.com.au is mixed but predominantly negative. That makes it a model to assess cautiously as used or remaining stock—not a TV to assume is readily available new.
What the EKO K65USG offers on paper
Ayonz Pty Ltd / EKO’s 2020 instruction manual identifies the K65USG as a 65-inch (165 cm) 4K Ultra HD Android TV running Android TV 9.0. These are manufacturer-stated specifications, not a measure of how well the TV performs in use.

CHOICE’s listing showed a historical price of $899 and a one-year warranty when accessed in 2026. This is not a current price offer. Its detailed test score and recommendation information are member-only in the available listing, so there is no public test result here to weigh against the owner feedback.
EKO’s current Australian range includes other 65-inch televisions, including Google TV and Samsung-powered Tizen models. Those are different products, not evidence that the discontinued K65USG shares their software, features or performance. Their displayed RRPs and stock prompts can change; compare a specific current listing rather than using them to infer K65USG availability.

- Not Universal Remote Control
- PLEASE NOTE - Replacement item may not work with all functions as original
- Easy to Use, without battery and manual
- No need Set up or Code
- Make sure our remote match with the model no of your unit
Across the owner accounts, recurring complaints include lag or freezing, Wi-Fi connection problems and early failures. Some reviewers, by contrast, describe the picture positively or consider the TV good value. These accounts show that experiences vary; they cannot establish how often a fault occurs or diagnose the cause of a problem on an individual set.
No independent reliability study or failure-rate statistic is established in the available sources. Treat freezing reports as a reason to test a used set carefully, not as proof that every K65USG will freeze.
What to check before buying a used K65USG
The manual lists a remote, two AAA batteries, left and right TV stands, screws, a warranty card and the instruction manual as in-box items. A second-hand set may not include them, so confirm what the seller is actually supplying.

- It's a replacement remote control, please check your model carefully that meet your need.
- No programming or setup required, only install new b.att.er.y
- This is replacement, some function will not work as original remote and it's not a defective product.
- Made of ABS material, it feels comfortable, not easy to damage, and is durable.
- Package: 1 Set
- Confirm the exact model and condition. Ask for a photo of the model label and clarify whether the TV is used, refurbished or remaining stock. Get the return terms and any applicable warranty in writing.
- Inspect the panel. With the TV on, check for cracks, lines, dark patches, flicker or other visible damage across the screen.
- Cold-start the TV. Turn it fully off, then start it again and check that it reaches the home screen without prolonged delays or freezing.
- Test the connections and functions you need. Connect to Wi-Fi, open the apps you plan to use, test each HDMI input you expect to rely on, and listen for clear audio at ordinary volume.
- Check the accessories. Verify that the remote works and that the stands and screws are present if you will use them. If wall-mounting, confirm mount compatibility with the seller or a reliable specification; it is not established by the information cited here.
These are practical checks for an individual unit, not test results or a guarantee that the TV will remain trouble-free.
Is the EKO K65USG a good buy?
It may suit someone considering a low-cost used or remaining-stock 65-inch 4K TV who can inspect the actual unit, verify its included parts and accept uncertainty about condition and support. The manual establishes basic display specifications, but not picture quality or long-term reliability; the public owner feedback is a cautionary signal rather than a quantified failure prediction.
When comparing it with another 65-inch TV, consider current availability and condition, operating system and app support, resolution and refresh rate, connectivity, warranty and support, price, and accessible independent test results. Do not treat newer EKO models as direct substitutes without checking their specifications and terms individually.
If the sound does not suit you, one ProductReview.com.au owner suggested using a standalone soundbar with a separate subwoofer. That is a single user’s suggestion, not a measured finding about the K65USG or a promise of compatibility or improvement; check the soundbar’s connections against the specific TV before buying.
