The model-number discrepancy you should resolve first
EGO’s Australian catalogue uses LM2112E-SP, while the Australian Touch Drive product page is titled LM21120E-SP. That extra zero may be a regional listing or catalogue-label difference, but the available documentation does not prove that the two labels are interchangeable in every market.

Before ordering, photographing the carton, registering the mower or buying replacement parts, check all three of these identifiers:
- The model code printed on the mower’s rating label and carton.
- The model code in the seller’s listing and invoice.
- The model code covered by the local owner’s manual and warranty terms.
Ask the seller or EGO distributor to confirm in writing that the specification page, battery kit and accessories apply to your exact code. Do not assume that a page labelled LM21120E-SP automatically covers an LM2112E-SP sold in another region.

A 52 cm deck covers more ground per pass than a narrower mower, so the width is most relevant when reducing the number of overlapping passes matters. Seven height positions
EGO lists seven cutting-height settings spanning 25 to 90 mm on its Australian Touch Drive page. That range gives a low setting for short ornamental cuts and higher settings for leaving longer grass, but the correct setting depends on grass species, season and how much foliage is removed at once. Raise the deck when the lawn is long or stressed rather than trying to remove the full height in one pass.
Bagging and mulching
The page lists both mulching and bagging. Bagging routes clippings into the stated 70-litre catcher; mulching returns finely cut material to the lawn when the mulch configuration is installed. Confirm the supplied plugs, inserts and fitting procedure in the exact local manual, because the product page does not establish which accessories are pre-fitted in every regional kit.

The Australian catalogue’s LM2112E-SP kit includes a 7.5 Ah battery and rapid charger. EGO’s Australian page claims “up to 50 minutes” with a 56V 7.5Ah ARC Lithium battery. “Up to” is a best-case manufacturer figure, not a guaranteed mowing session. Runtime changes with grass height and moisture, cutting-height selection, propulsion use, slope, blade condition, temperature and how continuously the machine is operated.
No independent runtime measurement was established, and the documentation does not state the lawn area represented by the 50-minute figure. Plan by time rather than assuming a fixed area: start with a fully charged pack, note how much lawn is completed before the low-battery indication, and keep a second compatible battery only after confirming the exact regional battery and charger requirements.
Charging and battery checks before use
- Confirm that the battery label and charger are the units supplied for your regional kit.
- Charge the pack using the rapid charger and procedure in the exact LM2112E-SP manual.
- Inspect the battery housing, contacts and charger cable for damage before insertion.
- Allow the pack to cool or warm within the manual’s stated limits if it has been stored in extreme temperatures.

Blade and cutting-system identification
EGO’s Australian catalogue separates its 52 cm families. It identifies LM2110E-SP as a single-blade model family and LM2130E-SP and LM2150E-SP as dual-blade models. Those cutting systems should not be treated as interchangeable, and specifications from one family should not be transferred to another.
EGO also says that a 52 cm high-lift mower blade is designed specifically for LM2112E-SP. Before ordering a replacement or spare, verify the exact part number, regional fit and model code with EGO or an authorised parts source. A blade that fits another 52 cm EGO deck is not automatically correct for this mower.
Self-propel speed: what is and is not documented
The Australian catalogue lists a self-propelled speed range of 0.4–1.4 m/s for LM2110E-SP. The catalogue does not clearly assign that figure to LM2112E-SP, so it should not be quoted as the LM2112E-SP’s speed range without the exact model manual confirming it.

- Match the code: confirm LM2112E-SP versus LM21120E-SP and record the code printed on the unit.

EGO Europe describes its self-propelled range as intended for varied lawn sizes and sloping or undulating lawns. That is range-level positioning, not proof that the LM2112E-SP has identical specifications or regional availability.
