Stel Instellingen > Privacy en beveiliging > Beveiliging > Bedrade accessoires in op Altijd toestaan. Daarmee laat je bedrade accessoires automatisch toe. Een computer vertrouwen is een aparte handeling: daarvoor moet je op het apparaat de vertrouwensvraag bevestigen en je toegangscode invoeren.

Apple noemt de instelling in de Engelstalige interface Wired Accessories. De beschikbare keuzes en vertaalde labels kunnen verschillen per model, aansluiting en softwareversie. Op USB‑C-apparaten noemt Apple vier opties; op Lightning-apparaten twee:

Wat ‘Altijd toestaan’ wel en niet verandert
De instelling gaat over toestemming voor bedrade accessoires. Ze betekent niet dat ieder apparaat gegevens kan uitwisselen terwijl je iPhone of iPad vergrendeld is. Apple zegt dat je het apparaat nog steeds moet ontgrendelen voordat je een opslagaccessoire gebruikt. Een USB-voedingsadapter kan het apparaat wel opladen terwijl het vergrendeld is; dat is geen bewijs dat gegevensverbindingen eveneens werken.
Met de standaardinstelling moet je het apparaat eerst ontgrendelen voordat een bedraad accessoire of een computer verbinding kan maken. Nadat de verbinding tot stand is gekomen, blijft het accessoire verbonden als je het apparaat weer vergrendelt. Herkent het apparaat een accessoire na ontgrendeling niet, koppel het dan los, ontgrendel de iPhone of iPad en sluit het opnieuw aan. Apple beschrijft deze uitzonderingen en stappen in hetzelfde ondersteuningsartikel.

Een Mac of pc vertrouwen is iets anders
Altijd toestaan schakelt de vertrouwensbevestiging voor computers niet uit. Wanneer je een iPhone of iPad voor het eerst met een computer verbindt, kan het apparaat vragen of je die computer vertrouwt. Bevestig de vraag op de iPhone of iPad en voer de toegangscode van het apparaat in. Bij volgende verbindingen met dezelfde computer wordt die host automatisch vertrouwd, tenzij beheerinstellingen dit beperken.

Op apparaten die onder toezicht van een organisatie staan, kan een beheerder met Apple Configurator of beheer op afstand (MDM) zowel de instelling voor bedrade accessoires als het koppelen met hosts beperken. De regels voor accessoires en hostkoppeling zijn afzonderlijke beveiligingsinstellingen; zie Apple’s handleiding voor het beheren van toegang tot accessoires op Apple-apparaten.

Controleer of de kabel zowel gegevensoverdracht als opladen ondersteunt. Een laadkabel zonder dataverbinding is niet genoeg om een computer te koppelen.

Probeer een andere USB-poort of, indien mogelijk, een andere computer.

Ontgrendel het apparaat en sluit het opnieuw aan. Kijk of de vraag om de computer te vertrouwen verschijnt.

Verschijnt de vertrouwensvraag niet, of heb je eerder geweigerd, volg dan Apple’s stappen voor het opnieuw instellen van locatie- en privacy-instellingen. Dit wijzigt niet de instelling Bedrade accessoires.
