The TITAN 5000 is the middle model in a three-product lineup and combines a 5 kWh LFP battery with 7,200 watts of rated split-phase output. What the TITAN 5000 is
The TITAN 5000 is a whole-home battery backup system designed for U.S. electrical systems. One battery stores 5 kWh and delivers 7,200 W of rated AC output at 120/240 V split-phase. Additional batteries can expand total storage to 30 kWh.

That combination is aimed at larger household loads than a typical portable power station. EcoFlow says the 7.2 kW output can run a 3-ton air conditioner, a refrigerator and other household loads at the same time. This is a capability claim, not a guarantee of runtime: actual operation depends on the air conditioner’s startup demand, the other circuits running, the battery configuration and available stored energy.

Smart Home Panel 10 integration
The optional Smart Home Panel 10 connects the TITAN 5000 to up to 10 household circuits and automatically transfers those circuits to battery power in 20 milliseconds or less. A licensed electrician is needed for the panel and household wiring work. The panel is excluded from the TITAN coupon discount.

Existing rooftop solar
AC-coupling an existing rooftop-solar system requires the 240 V Smart Home Panel 10 and a current-transformer sensor. Without that equipment, an existing solar inverter should not be assumed to work with the battery during an outage.
Solar charging
The TITAN 5000 accepts up to 4,000 W of photovoltaic input. The launch coupon also includes two EcoFlow 220 W portable solar panels, but those panels are an accessory benefit and do not represent the system’s maximum solar-input capability.

Can it run central air during an outage?
Potentially, yes. EcoFlow specifically says the 7,200 W system can power a 3-ton air conditioner along with a refrigerator and other loads. Whether a particular installation succeeds depends on the unit’s running and compressor-start requirements, the circuits selected in the Smart Home Panel 10, and how much energy is stored. A 5 kWh battery can be depleted quickly by sustained air-conditioning use, so adding batteries increases runtime rather than the advertised single-battery capacity.

Price and availability
EcoFlow’s October 13 launch release places the TITAN 5000 and TITAN 5000 Plus in the $3,000 range as standalone systems and in the $7,000 range when bundled with a Smart Home Panel and installation. EcoFlow said final pricing details were scheduled for November 3, 2026, so these are launch-range figures rather than a final itemized price.

The announced series also includes the TITAN 5000 Plus and TITAN 5000 Classic. EcoFlow’s comparison information lists the Classic at 4 kW with 120 V split-phase, while the TITAN 5000 is rated at 7.2 kW and supports 120/240 V split-phase. The Plus adds higher photovoltaic-boost capability. For a purchase decision, compare rated output, voltage and phase support, solar-input limits, Smart Home Panel compatibility, expandable capacity, installation requirements and the complete installed price—not just the battery’s advertised capacity.
What to check before ordering
- List the circuits you need during an outage, including air conditioning, refrigeration, medical equipment, pumps and networking gear.
- Confirm each major motor load’s startup demand and whether the combined demand stays within 7,200 W.
- Decide whether 5 kWh is adequate or whether extra batteries are needed for the expected runtime.
