The EasySMX X05 Pro is a sensible candidate if you want one controller that can connect by 2.4GHz wireless, Bluetooth, or USB to a Switch-family console, Windows PC, Android device, or iPhone. Its headline features are Hall-effect joysticks, quiet-button construction, two-stage trigger locks, trigger vibration, programmable rear buttons, turbo, and RGB lighting. Whether it is worth buying depends on how much you value that feature mix versus independently verified latency, battery runtime, long-term durability, or a specific game’s mobile-controller support.
EasySMX documents the specifications and compatibility covered here; the figures are not independent test results. The official product page was accessed on 13 October 2026. A user-written Reddit review offers anecdotal impressions only, so it cannot establish general noise levels, comfort, input lag, or connection reliability.

Quick verdict
Choose the X05 Pro when broad device support and flexible connection options matter more than having a published battery-life figure or third-party performance measurements. The listed combination of Hall-effect sticks, trigger locks, trigger vibration, quiet-button design, two programmable buttons, and three connection methods is unusually complete for a controller in this category.
Be more cautious if your decision depends on measured latency, a guaranteed runtime, a particular iPhone game, or proven long-term stick reliability. EasySMX lists those capabilities, but the available material does not include controlled tests for them. The most defensible conclusion is that the X05 Pro is feature-rich on paper and potentially versatile, not that it has been proven superior in use.

What the X05 Pro supports
EasySMX lists the controller for Nintendo Switch, Switch Lite, Switch OLED, Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 8.1, Windows 10, Windows 11, Android, and iOS. It identifies three connection methods: a supplied 2.4GHz receiver, Bluetooth, and a wired USB connection.
| Platform | Compatibility stated by EasySMX or the manual | Practical check before buying |
|---|---|---|
| Nintendo Switch | Switch, Switch Lite, and Switch OLED are listed. | Confirm that your chosen connection mode and the console hardware you use can accept the receiver or cable. |
| Windows PC | Windows 7, 8, 8.1, 10, and 11 are listed. | For 2.4GHz, your computer needs a usable USB port for the included receiver; wired play needs a data-capable USB connection. |
| Android | Android is listed without a specific version in the product information. | Check the phone or tablet’s Bluetooth, USB, and game-controller support, particularly if you plan to use a cable. |
| iPhone and other iOS devices | The English manual copy states iOS 13.0 or later and MFi-compatible games. | Verify the exact iOS version, game support, and whether your device accepts the selected connection method. |
The iOS requirement comes from an English manual copy hosted on a third-party document site, rather than a detailed compatibility matrix on the product page. Treat it as manual-stated guidance and confirm the specific game and device combination before relying on the controller for mobile play. A platform appearing on a compatibility list does not mean every game on that platform accepts a gamepad.
Connection modes and the polling-rate claims
The X05 Pro gives you a choice between a receiver-based wireless link, Bluetooth, and a cable. EasySMX lists different polling rates by mode:
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches2Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problems3Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minute| Connection | Polling rate listed by EasySMX | What is included or required | How to interpret the figure |
|---|---|---|---|
| 2.4GHz wireless | 1,000Hz | 2.4GHz receiver included in the package | Manufacturer specification; not an independently measured latency result. |
| Wired USB | 1,000Hz | Included USB data cable and a compatible USB port | Manufacturer specification; the game, operating system, cable, and USB path still affect end-to-end response. |
| Bluetooth | 125–250Hz | Bluetooth-capable host | Manufacturer specification; the stated range does not by itself predict the response of a particular game or device. |
A 1,000Hz polling claim describes how often the controller reports its state under the stated mode; it is not the same thing as a measured button-to-screen latency. Frame timing, Bluetooth or receiver scheduling, the operating system, the game engine, and display delay all contribute to what a player feels. No independent polling-rate, latency, or connection-stability test was established for this controller.
How to connect the EasySMX X05 Pro
The package contains the controller, a USB data cable, a 2.4G receiver, and a manual. Because the available product information does not reproduce the controller’s button-combination chart, use the manual for the exact mode-selection and pairing sequence rather than relying on an assumed shortcut. The following workflow keeps the hardware and host-side steps clear.

- Charge or connect the controller. Use the Type-C interface and the supplied USB data cable. For a first setup, let the controller charge sufficiently or keep it connected while checking the wired mode.
- Select the connection method in the manual. The X05 Pro supports 2.4GHz, Bluetooth, and wired operation, but the exact button sequence for changing modes is not specified in the product details available here.
- For 2.4GHz wireless, plug in the receiver. Insert the supplied receiver into a USB port on the host device or its compatible adapter, then follow the manual’s pairing instructions. On a Switch setup, the available USB port depends on whether you are using a dock, an adapter, or another supported arrangement.
- For Bluetooth, open the host’s Bluetooth settings. Put the controller into its Bluetooth pairing mode using the manual’s instructions, select the controller entry shown by the phone, tablet, computer, or console, and wait for the operating system to report a connection.
- For wired play, connect the cable directly. Use the supplied data cable between the Type-C port and the host. A cable that only supplies power will not provide the same result as a data cable.
- Test inside the game you intend to play. Confirm that the game detects a gamepad, that the buttons map correctly, and that any vibration or trigger functions are available. Mobile games may require MFi support even after the operating system reports a successful Bluetooth connection.
If the host does not detect the controller, disconnect other gamepads, reconnect the receiver or cable, and repeat the mode-selection sequence from the manual. Bluetooth troubleshooting should start with removing the old pairing from the host and pairing again. These are general recovery steps; the controller-specific indicator lights and reset combinations should be taken from the supplied manual.
Hall-effect joysticks: what is actually established
EasySMX lists Hall-effect joysticks. Hall-effect sensing uses magnetic-field changes to detect stick position rather than relying on a conventional physical contact track. That design is commonly associated with reduced dependence on rubbing electrical contacts and with resistance to the particular wear mechanism that can produce drift in some traditional modules.

The listing does not provide a drift-rate study, a lifespan rating, a replacement procedure, or an independent teardown. Hall-effect hardware therefore should be treated as a design feature, not a guarantee that drift or mechanical failure is impossible. Dust, spring wear, impact, calibration, and other parts of a stick assembly can still affect a controller over time.
Triggers, vibration, and the control layout
Two-stage trigger locks
The product page lists trigger locks. A lock can shorten the travel of a trigger for games where a quick press is preferable, while the unlocked position preserves a longer analog pull for driving, flying, or other controls that use graduated input. The listing does not specify the lock’s exact travel distance or a game-by-game compatibility rule, so the useful distinction is the choice between shorter and fuller trigger movement.
Trigger vibration and the motor system
EasySMX lists trigger vibration, a two-plus-two motor system, and a qualification that trigger vibration is limited by native in-game support. In practice, the game and platform must expose the relevant vibration function; a controller feature cannot add trigger effects to software that does not send them. The product material does not establish vibration strength, noise, or consistency through measurement.

Eight-way D-pad
An eight-way D-pad is listed. That layout can suit menus, platform games, and directional inputs that require diagonals, but the documentation does not describe the pad’s switch type, actuation force, or feel. Those characteristics are normally personal preferences and remain unverified here.
Programmable buttons, turbo, and RGB
The X05 Pro includes two programmable buttons, turbo, and RGB lighting according to EasySMX. Programmable buttons can place frequently used commands under additional fingers, while turbo can repeat an input in games that recognize repeated presses. Whether a particular game permits or properly interprets turbo is a software and rules question, not something established by the feature list. RGB lighting is cosmetic and may be useful for visibility or setup preference; no brightness, color-control interface, or battery impact is documented.
Quiet-button construction: a claim, not a noise test
Quiet-button construction is one of the controller’s advertised differentiators. That wording indicates that EasySMX is targeting lower acoustic output than a louder conventional design. It does not supply a decibel rating, a microphone-based comparison, switch-life data, or a standardized test environment.
A Reddit user’s review reports personal impressions about quietness, feel, and connections. That account may help set expectations that experiences vary, but it is one person’s anecdote and cannot establish a representative noise level. If silent operation is essential for streaming, shared rooms, or late-night play, treat the claim as something to verify through a return policy or your own hands-on check rather than as a measured specification.
Battery and charging
EasySMX lists a 1,000mAh battery and a Type-C charging interface. The package includes a USB data cable, so the controller can be charged without buying a cable immediately. The product information does not provide a runtime figure, recharge time, battery-management behavior, or an estimate for how RGB lighting or vibration changes endurance.

- Please Note: To reach 10Gbps speed, keep the cable under 3.3 ft. For USB A Male to USB C adapters, try flipping the USB C connector. USB C Male to USB A adapters support bidirectional 10Gbps transfer within 3.3 ft
Capacity alone cannot be converted into hours of play because runtime depends on connection mode, vibration use, lighting, radio activity, battery condition, and the controller’s power-management settings. Plan around the Type-C cable and the ability to use a wired connection when you need uninterrupted play, rather than assuming a particular number of hours.
Size, weight, and handling considerations
The official listing gives a net weight of 261.6g and dimensions of 15.70 × 9.50 × 6.50cm. Those figures describe the controller as supplied by EasySMX; they do not include an attached cable or receiver and are not a substitute for an ergonomic test.
| Physical specification | Manufacturer-listed value | What the number helps you check |
|---|---|---|
| Net weight | 261.6g | Whether the controller falls within your preferred weight range for handheld play. |
| Dimensions | 15.70 × 9.50 × 6.50cm | Whether the body is likely to fit your storage space, case, or hand-size expectations. |
| Charging interface | Type-C | Cable compatibility and whether your existing charging setup is convenient. |
The documentation does not establish grip texture, handle angle, rear-button placement comfort, reach for the triggers, or suitability for smaller hands. If you have a history of hand strain, compare these dimensions with a controller you already find comfortable and confirm the seller’s return terms before purchase.

Switch, Switch Lite, and Switch OLED
All three Switch variants appear in EasySMX’s compatibility list. The key planning issue is physical access to a USB port for the 2.4G receiver or cable, especially with a Switch Lite or a setup that does not use a dock. Bluetooth may avoid a receiver, but the exact pairing procedure and game behavior still come from the controller manual and the console software. Test the controller in the specific Switch titles you play, particularly if you depend on vibration, trigger behavior, or remapping.

Windows 7 through 11
Windows 7, 8, 8.1, 10, and 11 are listed. A PC gives you all three connection categories in principle: receiver-based wireless, Bluetooth where the computer has compatible hardware, and wired USB. For competitive games, select a mode that your game recognizes consistently and do not treat the 1,000Hz listing as a substitute for your own latency requirements. Older Windows versions may also differ in how individual games expose controller input, so verify recognition in the game rather than only in the operating system.
Android
Android support is listed without a version number in the product information. Bluetooth is the most obvious cable-free route, while USB use depends on the device’s port, adapter, and game support. Android games vary widely: some accept standard controller input, some require a particular mapping layer, and some do not support gamepads. Pair the controller before launching the game, then check the game’s own control settings.
iOS and iPadOS-class devices
The manual copy states iOS 13.0 or later and MFi-compatible games. That condition is important: an iPhone can pair with a controller while a particular game still ignores it. Confirm the operating-system version, the game’s controller listing, and any device-specific adapter or Bluetooth requirement before buying for mobile use.
Common setup problems and recovery paths
The 2.4GHz receiver is not detected
- Remove and reinsert the receiver in a different compatible USB port.
- Check that the controller is in the 2.4GHz mode specified by the manual.
- Disconnect other gamepads temporarily so the game does not select the wrong input device.
- Test the receiver with the host’s operating system before opening the game.
Bluetooth pairing succeeds but the game does not respond
- Forget the controller in the host’s Bluetooth settings and pair it again using the manual’s mode sequence.
- Close games that may have captured another controller, then relaunch the target game.
- On iOS, confirm both iOS 13.0-or-later guidance and MFi support for the game.
- Try wired or 2.4GHz operation, where the device supports it, to separate a Bluetooth issue from a game-compatibility issue.
The controller charges but does not work over USB
- Use the included USB data cable rather than a cable intended only for charging.
- Try another USB port and check whether the host reports a new game controller.
- Follow the manual’s wired-mode selection instructions; charging alone does not prove that the controller is in wired input mode.
Vibration or trigger effects are missing
- Check the game’s controller and vibration settings.
- Remember that EasySMX qualifies trigger vibration by native in-game support.
- Test a title known to expose the relevant feature before concluding that the hardware is defective.
What has not been independently established
No controlled measurement is available for input lag, polling-rate accuracy, acoustic output, battery runtime, comfort, durability, stick-drift resistance, or long-term connection stability. The 1,000Hz and 125–250Hz figures, 1,000mAh capacity, 261.6g weight, and listed dimensions are manufacturer specifications from the EasySMX product page accessed on 13 October 2026.
The Reddit account mentioned above is useful only as an individual experience. It should not be used to claim that every X05 Pro is quiet, comfortable, reliable, or free of connection problems. A review based on the available evidence can explain what the controller offers and where to verify it; it cannot replace a repeatable hands-on test.
Who should buy the X05 Pro?
It makes sense for you if
- You use more than one of the listed platforms and want 2.4GHz, Bluetooth, and wired choices in one controller.
- Hall-effect joysticks, trigger locks, programmable buttons, turbo, and RGB are more important to you than a published runtime figure.
- You want a receiver and a USB data cable included instead of purchasing those items separately.
- Your games support the controller features you care about, including vibration or mobile MFi input where applicable.
- You are comfortable treating the polling rates and quiet-button design as manufacturer claims until you can verify them yourself.
Look for a different fit if
- You require independently measured latency, noise, runtime, or durability before purchasing.
- You need guaranteed compatibility with a particular iPhone game, Android title, or Switch game and cannot test or return the controller.
- You need a documented ergonomic profile, very light weight, or a specific rear-button layout.
- You expect trigger effects or turbo to work in every game regardless of native software support.
Buying checklist
- Identify every device you will use and confirm its operating-system version.
- For iOS, verify iOS 13.0 or later and MFi compatibility for each important game.
- Check whether your Switch arrangement or PC has a practical USB port for the supplied receiver or cable.
- Decide whether you will primarily use 2.4GHz, Bluetooth, or wired mode; the listed polling rate changes by mode.
- Confirm that your preferred games expose vibration, trigger, remapping, or turbo functions as needed.
- Review the seller’s return and warranty terms because independent tests of noise, comfort, runtime, and durability are not established.
Bottom line
On documented features, the EasySMX X05 Pro is a versatile multi-platform controller with Hall-effect joysticks, trigger locks, trigger vibration, quiet-button construction, programmable controls, and three connection methods. Its strongest case is convenience and feature coverage across Switch, Windows, Android, and iOS. Its main qualification is evidentiary: EasySMX’s figures are specifications, not independent measurements, and the available material does not establish battery runtime or long-term performance. Buy it when that trade-off matches your priorities, and verify your exact game and device support before relying on it.
