A Mashable report republished by Yahoo Tech said Amazon listed the Apple iPad Pro 11-inch (M5, 256GB) for $1,139 on October 5, 2026, $60 below a stated $1,199 list price. That is a dated price report, not confirmation that the offer is still available: the current Amazon price, stock, seller and checkout total are unverified.
Which iPad Pro is in the reported deal?
The offer concerns one specific configuration: the 11-inch M5 iPad Pro with 256GB of storage. The report does not establish whether the listing was Wi-Fi or Wi-Fi + Cellular, so confirm connectivity and the exact configuration on Amazon before buying.

What does the 11-inch M5 iPad Pro offer?
Display
Apple specifies a Tandem OLED Ultra Retina XDR display measuring 11 inches, with 2420-by-1668-pixel resolution at 264 pixels per inch and ProMotion adaptive refresh rates from 10Hz to 120Hz. Apple lists 1,000 nits maximum SDR brightness, 1,000 nits maximum full-screen XDR brightness and up to 1,600 nits peak brightness for HDR content; the peak HDR figure should not be read as brightness across the entire screen in every use.
Chip and memory
For 256GB and 512GB models, Apple lists an M5 configuration with a 9-core CPU, 10-core GPU, 16-core Neural Engine, Neural Accelerators, hardware-accelerated ray tracing, 153GB/s memory bandwidth and 12GB of unified memory. These are Apple’s published specifications, not independent performance test results. Mashable says the tablet runs iPadOS 26 and frames it for creative and professional work; whether it can replace a laptop depends on the person’s applications and workflow.
