EA SPORTS FC 27’s minimum PC target is 720p Low, while its recommended target is 1080p Medium. EA also publishes four higher hardware targets for 1440p, 4K, and higher frame rates. These are EA’s specifications—not independent benchmark guarantees—so compare your whole system with the tier that matches your display and performance goals.
EA SPORTS FC 27 PC system requirements
The table summarizes the hardware and targets EA lists for each PC tier. The gameplay and cutscene frame rates are separate targets; EA says actual performance varies by hardware and configuration. Every tier specifies DirectX 12 and broadband internet. Minimum and Recommended list Windows 10 or 11, 64-bit, with the latest update; the four higher tiers list Windows 11, 64-bit, with the latest update.

Compare the full system, not just the graphics card
Check your processor, graphics card and its VRAM, installed memory and channel configuration, Windows version, and available drive space. A GPU that appears to match a tier does not establish that the rest of the PC does. For example, EA’s Recommended tier also calls for a particular CPU class, 12 GB of dual-channel memory, and SSD storage.

Choose a tier by resolution and frame-rate goal
Start with the resolution you intend to play at, then look at the matching target. The high and ultra tiers are not simply a single ladder: High–Performance targets 1080p Medium at 80 FPS gameplay, while Ultra–Performance targets 1440p High at 120 FPS gameplay. Their listed components differ accordingly. EA’s figures do not guarantee those frame rates on every computer with similar parts.
Use the listed operating system and storage requirements
Make sure Windows is 64-bit and updated, and that the game drive has at least the listed 100 GB available. EA permits an HDD at Minimum, but lists an SSD for Recommended and every higher tier. It recommends SSD storage for the best experience while still supporting an HDD at Minimum.

PC setup tips for graphics, memory, and controls
Watch the in-game VRAM estimate
EA says the graphics settings menu estimates maximum in-game video-memory usage as you change settings. Treat it as a guide rather than a measurement guarantee: avoid selecting a combination that appears to exceed your GPU’s available VRAM, then adjust settings if performance is unsatisfactory.

Check whether memory runs in dual channel
Dual-channel memory is specified across EA’s tiers. EA says two sticks can perform better than the same total capacity in a single stick; its examples include 2×4 GB for Minimum and 2×16 GB for Ultra. Before buying or rearranging memory, check the modules already installed and your motherboard’s supported configuration.

Interpret EA’s startup improvement claim narrowly
In its September 2, 2026 PC Deep Dive, EA reported around 50% launch-time improvements in some configurations based on its own testing, while noting that results vary with hardware setup. This is not a general performance guarantee or an independent benchmark. Read EA’s FC 27 PC Deep Dive for its discussion of PC changes and settings.
