In EA SPORTS FC 27, the mode many players call Pro Clubs is listed by EA as Clubs, and you enter it through The Grounds. On your first launch, complete the 11v11 warm-up, finish The Grounds tutorial, then meet Paulo Dybala at the Clubhouse. From there, you can create a Club, join one, or accept a friend’s invitation.
Which FC 27 versions include The Grounds and Clubs?
EA lists The Grounds, including Clubs, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PC, and Nintendo Switch 2. It is not listed for the other FC 27 platform versions. Availability and access details can change with updates; see EA’s platform information.

How to unlock Clubs the first time
- Complete the introductory 11v11 warm-up. EA says this introduces you to The Grounds.
- Finish The Grounds tutorial. The tutorial includes meeting Alex Hunter, interacting with Kylian Mbappé, and playing an introductory 2v2 match. It ends after that match.
- Open the Grounds map and find the Clubhouse. Look for the house icon.
- Meet Paulo Dybala at the Clubhouse. This unlocks Clubs.
- Create or join a Club, or accept a friend’s invitation. The Clubhouse is where you manage access to your Club.

On later logins, select The Grounds from the main menu. Go to the Clubhouse for Club activities, including League and Playoff matches and 11v11 Live Event Tournaments.

Where to find other Grounds activities
Not every activity starts at the Clubhouse. Ranked Rush and 11v11 Drop-In have separate access points in The Grounds. For a Kickabout or Street Football match, use the relevant pitch:
- Check the pitch’s information board to see which modes are available.
- Enter the queue zone and select Play.
- Wait for the required number of players to join.
The Grounds includes 1v1, 2v2, and 3v3 Street Football, Kickabout activities, Ranked Rush, and 11v11 Drop-In. EA’s The Grounds navigation help page explains where to queue and how to join friends.

How to join friends in The Grounds
Use EA Connect to invite friends to a party or accept their invitation. EA says an invite can bring players together even when they are in different Grounds worlds.
EA describes cross-play across PC and Gen 5 platforms, with Nintendo Switch 2 excluded. Do not assume a Switch 2 player can join cross-play sessions with players on those other platforms; check EA’s current The Grounds help information for any updates.

How to communicate with friends
The Grounds has no proximity chat or open mic for nearby players. EA directs players to EA Connect for voice or text chat with friends; in The Grounds itself, players can communicate with emotes.
