Career, Clubs or Ultimate Team?

Football Manager 26 is a family of editions, not one identical build installed on every device. Football Manager states that PC/Mac, Console and Touch share features but retain significant differences for their platforms. Should you buy FM26 now or wait for FM27?
As of October 17, 2026, Football Manager 27 is announced to launch globally from November 10, 2026. That date is close enough to change the recommendation for a new buyer.
Buy or play FM26 now if
- You want to start a save immediately and the FM26 edition on your platform has the features you need.
- You have access through a listed route such as PC/Mac, Console, Touch or Netflix Mobile and have confirmed the edition’s differences.

Treating every FM26 edition as identical
