DWF Maas and Falcon Digital, companies linked to DWF Labs, have reportedly sued crypto custodian BitGo in London’s High Court, seeking $141 million over alleged early transfers or sales of Falcon Finance (FF) and ESPORTS tokens. The plaintiffs say the activity violated token lock-up agreements and hurt the value of tokens they still held. The allegations have not been decided by a court; $141 million is the amount sought, not an award.
What the lawsuit reportedly alleges
TokenPost reported on October 9, 2026, that DWF Maas and Falcon Digital filed the claim against BitGo in London’s High Court. The dispute concerns over-the-counter token agreements for Falcon Finance (FF) and ESPORTS. The reports describe separate agreements for the two tokens, but the full contracts and the court filing have not been made public in the reviewed coverage.

The reported lock-up arrangement
According to TokenPost’s account of the claim, BitGo received discounted token pricing in exchange for an initial three-month lock-up, followed by releases in stages. The plaintiffs allege BitGo transferred the tokens to exchanges about two months before the first scheduled unlock. The Crypto Times, attributing the detail to DWF, reported the statement: “The discount BitGo received was conditional on the tokens remaining locked.” That is DWF’s reported position, not a judicial finding or a quotation from an agreement independently reviewed here.
The alleged price impact
The plaintiffs claim that the early activity increased selling pressure, lowered token prices and reduced the value of their remaining holdings. The reports do not establish whether the alleged transfers included sales, how much was transferred or sold, or whether BitGo’s conduct caused any price movement. Neither breach nor causation has been determined by a court in the available reporting.

Who is involved
- Claimants: DWF Maas and Falcon Digital, described in the reports as DWF Labs affiliates.
- Defendant: BitGo, described as a digital-asset custodian.
- Tokens named: Falcon Finance (FF) and ESPORTS.
- Reported venue: London’s High Court.
BitGo’s SEC filing describes its offerings as multi-signature blockchain wallet solutions for secure storage and trade settlement, staking, digital-asset lending and professional smart-contract development. The filing also says BitGo’s Class A common stock began trading on the New York Stock Exchange under ticker BTGO on January 22, 2026. Those company-background details do not establish what happened under the disputed token agreements.
What the $141 million demand means
The reported $141 million is the amount DWF Maas and Falcon Digital are seeking. It is not a court award, and the reviewed coverage does not give the complaint’s damages calculation. The plaintiffs’ reported theory is that early transfers or sales put pressure on prices and diminished the value of tokens they continued to hold; the available reports do not independently demonstrate that causal link.

Reported token prices do not decide causation
The Crypto Times relayed historical price observations attributed to CoinMarketCap and, for part of the ESPORTS account, to the Financial Times citing CoinMarketCap. These are secondary-reported market data, not proof that the alleged conduct caused a decline:
- Falcon Finance: The Crypto Times reported a closing price of $0.07888 on March 1, 2026, and $0.07179 on March 24, 2026.
- ESPORTS (Yooldo): The Crypto Times reported early-March 2026 closing prices around $0.30–$0.31. It also relayed a Financial Times account citing CoinMarketCap of a decline from about $0.28 in mid-March to $0.07 by early June 2026.
The reported figures do not validate the plaintiffs’ damages demand. Price movement alone cannot establish who traded, whether a contract was breached, or what caused a change in market value.

What is known about BitGo’s response and the case status
TokenPost reported that BitGo declined to comment. The reviewed reports do not establish BitGo’s legal defense, a case number, a hearing date, a court schedule or a ruling. The claim remains an allegation in the available coverage, not a finding that BitGo breached a contract.
