Balderton Capital led the round, with Index Ventures, Northzone and Credo Ventures also investing. The financing brings Duvo’s disclosed total funding to $48 million and will support an initial expansion into the United States, focused on retailers and consumer packaged-goods companies.
What Duvo is building
Duvo describes its product as an Enterprise Execution OS: a software layer intended to run operational work across the systems a company already uses rather than replacing those systems. Its scope includes enterprise-resource-planning (ERP) platforms, supplier portals, spreadsheets, email inboxes, application-programming interfaces and older applications that may not expose modern APIs.

The company says it first maps how work is actually performed. Its AI-led discovery process can use interviews, screen recordings and existing documents to identify the steps, handoffs, decisions and exceptions in a process. After a company approves the resulting design, Duvo executes the defined steps across the relevant systems. Decisions that require judgment are routed to named employees, and operating cockpits show pending decisions alongside completed outcomes.

Discovering the real process
Instead of relying only on an idealized procedure written in a policy manual, Duvo says it examines the way employees perform the work in practice. Interviews, recordings and documents provide the inputs for a process map that can include system actions, business rules and points where a person must intervene.
#1 Best Overall
Connecting modern and legacy software
Duvo’s stated approach combines API connections with screen-level interaction. That matters for organizations whose workflows cross an ERP, a supplier website, a spreadsheet and an inbox, or whose older applications cannot be integrated through a standard API.
Keeping approvals and exceptions with people
Automated steps are not presented as an unrestricted “hands-off” agent. Duvo says designated people own exceptions and approvals. It also records approvals and changes and writes the resulting information back to company systems, creating an operational record of what was decided and delivered.

Why the company is raising money now
Duvo’s announcement frames the round as a response to the difficulty of making AI reliable in complex enterprise operations. Balderton partner Rob Moffat said that getting AI agents to work reliably across the enterprise remains difficult. Duvo co-founder and CEO Tomáš Čupr said measuring AI by the number of people an agent could replace is the wrong unit, pointing instead to how effectively work gets executed.

The company cited Gartner figures in its announcement: more than $21 billion in business-orchestration and automation spending by 2029, and a prediction that more than 40% of agentic-AI projects could be canceled by the end of 2027. Those figures were reported by Duvo and Balderton; the underlying Gartner publications were not independently available in the announcement. Balderton said its figure came from a survey of 350 executives at companies with at least $1 billion in revenue.

Customers and reported results
Duvo names Morrisons, Holland & Barrett, Boden, Notino and Allegro as customers. Morrisons Group Productivity Director Gordon MacPherson said the retailer’s processes had evolved over decades and that Duvo provided a way to understand them in detail and quickly.
Duvo reports that its software has unlocked more than $100 million for clients. The company’s example from Notino concerns a quarterly reconciliation covering approximately $45 million a year in supplier bonuses. Duvo says the process fell from 70 days to 15 days and from roughly 120 specialist hours per cycle to fewer than 10. These are company-reported outcomes, not independently audited performance figures.

| Notino reconciliation measure | Before | After, as reported by Duvo |

| Specialist effort per cycle | About 120 hours | Under 10 hours |
| Supplier bonuses covered annually | About $45 million | |
Who invested and how Duvo will expand
Balderton Capital led the $32 million Series A. Existing backers Index Ventures, Northzone and Credo Ventures participated, taking disclosed funding to $48 million. Duvo said the capital will fund U.S. expansion beginning with retail and consumer packaged goods.
The company also announced two commercial hires for that effort: Michael Green as chief commercial officer and Spencer Insolia as managing director for the United States. Duvo says it has almost 60 employees.

Governance, models and availability
Duvo says its platform is model-agnostic, so customers are not locked to one artificial-intelligence model. The release also lists SOC 2 Type II, ISO 27001 and ISO 42001 certifications. U.S. companies can obtain Duvo through Microsoft’s Azure Marketplace, according to the announcement.
The company says a first process can be live in weeks, but the timetable will depend on process complexity, access to source systems, security review, data quality and the approvals a customer requires. An implementation project may still need an enterprise automation implementation partner or ERP systems integrator, particularly when workflows span numerous business units and legacy applications.
How Duvo differs from conventional automation categories
| Evaluation point | Duvo’s stated approach |
|---|---|
| Systems reached | APIs plus screen-level interaction with ERPs, portals, spreadsheets, inboxes and legacy applications |
| Process discovery | AI-led interviews, screen recordings and document analysis |
| Governance | Approval routing, named exception owners, recorded changes and outcomes |
| Deployment claim | First process can be live in weeks, subject to implementation conditions |
| Model strategy | Model-agnostic, according to Duvo |
| Operating view | Cockpits for pending decisions and delivered results |
That combination places Duvo between traditional robotic process automation, workflow software and newer agentic-automation platforms. The distinguishing claim is not simply that an AI agent can perform a task, but that a governed execution layer can coordinate an entire cross-system process and leave an auditable trail.
What remains undisclosed
The financing announcement does not disclose Duvo’s valuation, revenue, margins or independent customer-retention data. Its funding, customer list, certifications and performance examples are based on company- or investor-controlled announcements. Prospective customers should therefore validate savings, integration effort, security controls and exception-handling behavior in their own environments before committing to a rollout.
The Bottom Line
Duvo’s $32 million Series A gives it capital to take its cross-system execution software into the U.S. retail and consumer-goods markets. Its core proposition is governed automation across both modern APIs and legacy screens, with people retaining responsibility for approvals and exceptions; the scale of the reported benefits still needs to be assessed customer by customer.
