Its listed dimensions differ between sources, and the available information does not establish how it performs in independent testing. Treat the seller descriptions as guidance, check the exact size and care label before buying, and compare the pillow’s height and firmness with what feels comfortable to you.
What the pillow is
The Dunlopillo Luxurious Latex High Profile Firm Feel is a latex pillow sold in Australia. Retailer listings identify its fill as Talalay latex and describe a removable cotton sateen cover. Retailer descriptions also refer to a pincore or open-cell design; those construction details are seller claims, not independent findings about breathability or comfort.

“High profile” and “firm feel” describe the product’s intended fit and feel. Retailers position it for side sleepers and people seeking extra support, but that guidance cannot establish that it will suit every side sleeper or deliver a particular health benefit.

Who might find the fit suitable
A high-profile, firm pillow may be worth considering if you prefer a substantial pillow and want more height than a lower-loft option. Retailers specifically suggest it for side sleepers and people with larger frames, but those are product-positioning claims rather than a fit guarantee.
- Compare the stated height with the pillow loft you already find comfortable, bearing in mind that listings report either 15 or 16 cm.
- Consider your sleeping position together with your shoulder width and body proportions; the same pillow height can feel different from person to person.
- Think about whether you actually like a firm latex feel. If you prefer a softer or more yielding pillow, this model’s stated firmness may not match your preference.
- Do not treat the marketing description as evidence that the pillow treats neck pain or guarantees spinal alignment.
Care instructions: cover and pillow core are different
Care directions vary by source and component. Harvey Norman says to warm-machine-wash the cover on a gentle cycle and line dry it. For the pillow itself, it says to hand-wash gently in warm water, dry flat, and not tumble dry. CHOICE says to hand-wash the pillow in warm water at a maximum of 40°C with mild detergent, rinse in cold water, and dry in warm air or an airing cupboard; it says not to dry clean or tumble dry.

CHOICE’s detailed expert rating and performance scores are behind member access in the available page. Its accessible listing provides specifications, but it does not support assigning the pillow a score or saying CHOICE recommends it. Sleep Solutions repeats a 93% “would buy again” claim attributed to a CHOICE satisfaction survey, but the underlying report, date, sample and methodology are not provided here; that figure should not be treated as a validated performance result.

This is a plausible option to investigate if you specifically want a high-profile, firm latex pillow. The main decision points are whether that loft and feel suit your body and preferences, which of the conflicting listed dimensions matches the current SKU, and whether the seller’s current care, warranty and purchase terms meet your needs. The available evidence establishes product listings, not firsthand comfort or independently accessible test performance.
