The Dunlopillo Luxurious Latex Classic is a latex pillow, not a mattress. For the medium-profile, medium-feel version covered by the available retailer listings, it has a removable cotton sateen cover and measures 59 × 40 × 13.5 cm. The available public evidence does not establish whether it performs well in independent testing: CHOICE lists a review, but its rating and detailed results are restricted to members.
What is the Dunlopillo Luxurious Latex Classic?
It is a pillow in Dunlopillo’s Classic range. The specifications cited here apply to the medium-profile, medium-feel variant; they should not be assumed to describe every version sold under the Classic name. David Jones calls it the brand’s original and most popular pillow, but that is retailer product copy rather than independent evidence of popularity or suitability.

David Jones and OPC Health describe the medium version as latex-filled and list a removable 100% cotton sateen cover. Dunlopillo UK says its latex is derived from rubber-tree sap and has an open-cell structure, but those brand-level statements do not establish the exact composition of this particular pillow or prove health benefits.

There is a small discrepancy in listed dimensions: CHOICE gives 58 × 39 × 13 cm for its tested model, while the retailer listings give 59 × 40 × 13.5 cm for the medium version. The sources do not explain the difference, so check the specific listing and pillowcase fit rather than treating one set of measurements as universal.

Does independent testing show that it is good?
CHOICE has a review and testing page for the Luxurious Latex Classic, but its visible page does not show the expert rating or detailed test results to non-members. The public specifications alone do not support a recommendation, a high-score claim, or conclusions about comfort, durability, or performance. Treat the listed test weight and warranty as specifications, not test outcomes.
How to decide whether the medium profile is right for you
A listed profile height is a starting point, not an ergonomic guarantee. Your comfortable pillow height depends on how your head and neck feel supported in your usual sleeping position, as well as personal preference. David Jones says the medium profile suits a medium-size frame, but this is retailer guidance, not independent fit evidence.

- Check that the version you are buying is explicitly described as medium profile and medium feel; Classic variants may differ.
- Consider whether you prefer a soft, medium, or firm feel and whether you need a standard pillow shape or a contoured neck-support design.
- Check the listed dimensions against your pillowcase and the space you have available.
- Read the care instructions for the latex pillow itself. The retailer’s machine-washable claim applies to the removable cover, not necessarily the latex insert.
Price, availability, returns, and warranty
Retail listings are snapshots, not dependable statements of current price or stock. David Jones showed $179.99 and out of stock when indexed; Myer showed a sale price, but that price and its terms can change. Myer’s listing also said the item was not eligible for change-of-mind returns. Verify the price, availability, shipping, return restrictions, and precise variant at checkout.

Verdict: who should consider it?
The medium Classic is worth considering if you want a latex-filled pillow with a removable cotton sateen cover and its stated dimensions and feel suit your preferences. The public information is not enough to judge its independent test performance or establish that the medium profile is right for a particular sleeper. Confirm the exact variant, fit, care instructions, and purchase terms before ordering.
