How to check current rewards before farming
- Open the Director and navigate to the Dreaming City activity you plan to run.
- Read the activity’s displayed reward information, including any listed reward tier. Do not infer a current item pool from an older guide.
- Compare the displayed reward with your goal: dungeon gear, destination-activity rewards, or currency use at Petra.
- If the reward display does not name a specific weapon or armor piece, treat the item-level drop as unconfirmed rather than assuming a particular drop source.
Destiny 2’s current activity navigation separates the Portal from World destinations. Bungie describes the Portal as a hub for activities and missions launched with The Edge of Fate expansion in 2025, while the World tab covers content through The Final Shape. What is known about activity rewards
The Shattered Throne
Bungie currently includes The Shattered Throne in its dungeon list and says dungeons reward gear unique to each dungeon. That establishes it as a route for dungeon-specific gear, but the available official information does not establish a current weapon or armor list by encounter. Check the live reward display for the activity before choosing it for a specific item.
Blind Well and destination activities
Bungie’s Director guidance describes unique destination activities such as Blind Well as using tiered rewards. It also distinguishes public-event rewards from heroic-completion rewards, with possible upgrades. This guidance explains how reward tiers work in general; it does not confirm a current Dreaming City item pool by activity. Bungie: Destiny 2 Activities

Use Petra for Dark Fragments; skip obsolete material advice
Petra Venj is the Dreaming City vendor relevant to Dark Fragments. Bungie’s inventory guidance calls Dark Fragments the only destination currency that remains and directs players to Petra to use them. Check her in-game inventory for current uses. Do not farm Baryon Boughs or other legacy destination materials on the assumption that they still advance progression. Bungie’s Year 8 notice says destination materials lost value starting July 15, 2025, and that those materials in inventory would no longer have value. What older loot guides cannot establish
Current official guidance does not provide a complete 2026 list of Dreaming City weapons, armor sets, material drops, or encounter-specific Shattered Throne rewards. In particular, an older list of Reverie Dawn armor or legendary weapons is not enough to establish that an item currently drops from a particular activity. Likewise, the available guidance does not establish weekly lockouts, repeat-farm rules, exact drop chances, or a specific Petra bounty reward. Use the game’s reward display for current activity-level information.
