Does smart-home compatibility matter to your setup?
Roborock’s global page specifically names Matter, Amazon Alexa, Apple Siri Shortcuts, and Google Home. If you plan to control the Saros 10R through one of these platforms, verify that the feature is supported for the model and region you intend to buy, and that it works with your preferred app and setup. - Lean toward Dreame if its advertised threshold crossing and heated mop-care features address specific needs in your home, and you have confirmed the regional model and offer you can actually buy.
- Lean toward Roborock if named Matter and voice-platform support or the stated quiet-mopping feature is more relevant to your setup.
- For either model, measure furniture clearance, check your floor transitions, confirm regional compatibility and bundle details, and compare current local prices.
Roborock’s global page says that, as of January 2025, the Saros 10R was the thinnest model among Roborock’s vacuum robots. That is a dated claim limited to Roborock’s lineup at that time, not a claim about all robot vacuums or current market-wide leadership (Roborock Global).
