The Dreame X60 Ultra Complete has ambitious specifications, but those figures alone cannot show whether it cleans better than a person—or whether it suits your home. No verified week-long test or comment from the author’s mother is available here, so this article does not present either as fact. It explains what Dreame says the robot can do, what to check in your own home, and which evidence would support a real-world verdict.
First, check which X60 model is sold in your region
Dreame uses similar names for distinct products. Its regional pages describe the X60 Ultra Complete; the US page lists the X60 Ultra and distinguishes it from the X60 Max Ultra Complete. The US page says the Max model has chassis lifting for thick carpets and a dual cleaning-solution compartment, while the US X60 Ultra has one solution compartment. Those distinctions are not grounds to assume every regional Complete model has the same configuration. Check the exact model name, specifications, bundle, warranty, and included accessories on the local listing before buying. [Dreame US X60 Ultra; Dreame X60 Ultra Complete]

What Dreame’s specifications do—and don’t—show
Dreame’s regional X60 Ultra Complete pages list maximum suction of 35,000 Pa, a 6,400 mAh battery, dual Omni-Scrub rotating mops, a 235 ml robot dust box, and a dock with a 3.2 L dust bag. The dock’s listed clean- and used-water tank capacities are 4.2 L and 3.0 L. Dreame also lists mop washing at 100°C and hot-air drying on its KSA Complete page. These are manufacturer specifications and feature descriptions, not independent measurements of cleaning results or evidence that it outperforms manual cleaning. [Dreame X60 Ultra Complete]

A high suction rating is not a direct measure of how much dust or debris a robot removes from a particular floor. Likewise, rotating mops and hot-water washing describe the system, not how it handles dried stains, grout, edges, or different floor materials. To judge cleaning, look for observations made on specified surfaces, with identified debris or stains, using stated settings and repeated runs.

Will it fit under furniture and cross your thresholds?
Dreame lists the robot as 350 × 350 mm. Its stated height is 79.5 mm with the VersaLift sensor retracted and 102.8 mm when raised. Measure the narrowest clearance beneath furniture, and allow for uneven floors, furniture supports, and the robot’s path to and from the space; a nominal height is not a guarantee that every low opening is accessible. [Dreame X60 Ultra Complete]
Dreame claims obstacle crossing of up to 8.8 cm for a double-layer step and 4.5 cm for a single-layer step. These are manufacturer maximums, not assurances for every threshold. Shape, edge angle, surface, and approach can affect whether a robot gets over an obstacle. Measure your thresholds and check whether the product’s regional documentation describes a configuration matching the obstacle in your home. [Dreame X60 Ultra Complete]

How much work does the dock still require?
The dock automates parts of the mop-care process, but it is not maintenance-free. Its water tanks and dust bag have finite capacities, and the mop-washing and drying functions still depend on a functioning dock and routine upkeep. Dreame’s India Complete page says a water hookup kit for automatic refilling and draining is sold separately; do not assume that kit is included or available with every regional bundle. Confirm local requirements and included parts before planning a plumbed installation. [Dreame India X60 Ultra Complete]
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minute2Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors3Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitchesBefore purchase, consider where the dock will fit, how you will refill and empty its tanks if it is not plumbed, and whether replacement dust bags, mop pads, and approved floor solution are available for your exact regional model. The cited product pages establish that the system uses a dust bag, mop pads, and a solution compartment, but they do not establish part numbers or third-party compatibility.

What evidence would support a “better than humans” verdict?
That is a broad comparison, not something the product specifications can establish. A credible week-long account would identify the home and floor types, the debris or stains tested, the robot’s settings, how many runs were completed, and where it failed or needed help. A comparison with people would also need a clear standard—for example, whether the question is routine daily pickup, dried spills, corners, or the time and effort required. Without those details, a personal verdict should not be presented as a measured result or generalized to other homes.
The same caution applies to claims about object recognition and obstacle avoidance: feature descriptions do not show how reliably the robot navigates a particular cluttered room. For a comparison with another robot, prioritize verified performance on your floors and debris, low-clearance access, threshold handling, mop and dock maintenance, clutter navigation, and the locally confirmed price and warranty. Dreame’s product pages provide design specifications, not a controlled independent comparison. [Dreame US X60 Ultra; Dreame X60 Ultra Complete; Dreame model comparison]
