The Dreame FP10 is a pet-focused purifier that combines particle filtration with a roller that collects loose hair in a visible bin. Dreame also publishes odor-removal and hair-capture test results, but those are controlled chamber claims—not proof of equivalent results in every home. Its specifications make the FP10 distinctive; the available evidence is not enough to establish long-term reliability or independently verified room coverage.
What the Dreame FP10 is designed to do
The FP10 pairs conventional air filtration with a roller-based system intended to collect airborne pet hair before it settles. Collected hair goes into a separate bin that Dreame lists as 0.12 gallon, or 460 mL in regional product material. The device also includes an app and sensors for PM2.5, TVOC, temperature, and humidity. Dreame’s product page lists the main unit, primary filter, HEPA filter with activated carbon, adapter, and manual in the package.

That combination may appeal to homes where visible loose hair is a particular nuisance, but it does not make the FP10 a substitute for cleaning settled hair from floors, furniture, or fabric. Nor do the product details alone establish that it is the right size for a particular room.

1Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors2Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches3Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problemsWhat Dreame’s specifications establish—and what they don’t
Dreame lists a PCADR of 350 m³/h, rated power of 45 W, noise of 32–62 dB(A), dimensions of 370 × 370 × 620 mm, weight of 8.8 kg, and a two-year lifespan for the HyperMatrix HEPA filter. These are manufacturer-published figures; PCADR should not be treated as an independently verified room-size rating. The published noise range is not broken down by operating mode, so it does not tell you how loud the unit will be in the mode you plan to use.

Dreame describes four filtration stages: a primary filter for hair, dander, dust, and larger particles; HEPA media; porous activated carbon; and a metal functional odor-removal layer. The company calls the filter grade H14 and claims 99.97% filtration efficiency for particles larger than 0.3 µm, based on laboratory testing. No independent validation of that specific FP10 claim is established here. The H14 label and efficiency figure therefore should not be read as a guarantee of allergen reduction in a particular home.
Pet hair and odor claims: read the test conditions
Hair collection
Dreame’s Australia product material reports a 99.5% cat-hair collection result from a 30 m³ chamber with two cats, Pet Mode running for seven days, and hair weighed after collection. The company also describes a separate test in a 3 m³ chamber using 50 g of duck down in High Mode for one hour, reporting 49.938 g collected. A further 22× comparison is described as an internal test against Dreame’s PM10 in a 30 m² chamber. These figures come from different setups and are not interchangeable measures of everyday performance. Dreame Australia’s FP10 page provides the manufacturer’s test descriptions.

Odor treatment
Dreame says its odor tests used a 1 m³ chamber at 23 ± 2 °C and 50 ± 5% relative humidity, comparing pollutant concentration before and after one hour. It reports 99.9% removal for several named odor compounds under those conditions. A home has different room volume, airflow, odor source strength, and operating patterns, so the chamber percentage does not promise the same result in everyday use. The product page describes an odor-lock activated-carbon layer alongside a separate odor-removal layer; those are design features, not independent confirmation of real-home odor control. Dreame’s FP10 page describes the filtration and odor-test claims.

The maintenance instructions apply to different parts, so “maintenance-free” would be an overstatement. Dreame says the primary filter does not require regular cleaning or replacement and gives the HEPA filter a two-year lifespan. Its support guidance separately says a dirty removable pre-filter can be washed with water and air-dried. It warns not to rinse the roller’s top bearing or the internal odor-removing particles. Follow the instructions for the specific component rather than washing parts that are not meant to be rinsed. Dreame’s FP10 support guidance covers pre-filter cleaning and the components that should not be rinsed.

The pet weighing tray is optional and sold separately, according to Dreame. The company says the app can create profiles for multiple pets and use tray interaction to track weight and routines, with airflow adjustment when a pet steps onto the tray. These are feature descriptions, not demonstrated health benefits. Local price and availability are not established here.
How much independent evidence is available?
Techolay’s video description says: “We tested the device in an office environment for two days, monitoring PM2.5, TVOC, humidity, and temperature values.” That is a publisher’s description of a short office test, not long-term ownership evidence. The description mentions evaluation of noise, filter life, coverage, odor and smoke, and pet hair and food odor, but it does not provide enough underlying measurement detail to generalize results to homes. Techolay’s FP10 video is the identified short-test source.

No independent laboratory validation, long-term owner reliability record, or independently measured room-coverage result is established here. A like-for-like comparison with a named competing purifier is also not available, so a recommendation based on relative performance, filter cost, or room coverage would be premature.
