Capcom confirms both PC and Switch 2 as release platforms, but the cited official announcement does not name their unlock hours. The Steam page referenced here is for the original 2024 game, not the 2026 expansion, so its date is not evidence of a Dark Arisen launch time. Open the store page for your region and check its release countdown or availability notice close to launch. Capcom Town Store’s June 29, 2026 pre-order announcement repeats the October 9 date without specifying an unlock hour.
Which edition or purchase do you need?
The storefronts show different purchase options, so verify the contents before buying. On the U.S. PlayStation Store, the $49.99 Dark Arisen edition is listed with the base game, expansion, Explorer’s Camping Kit, custom sounds, and Norgan Fashion Set; a separate expansion add-on is listed at $29.99. These are U.S. listing prices and may change. Xbox lists a bundle containing the base game and expansion. Capcom says the Switch 2 package combines the original game and expansion. Why some pages show a 2024 release date
The original Dragon’s Dogma 2 released on March 22, 2024 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, according to Capcom’s original release announcement. A Steam search listing showed March 21, 2024 for that original game, a historical store date that should not be confused with the upcoming expansion’s release. The October 2026 date is for Dark Arisen, not the original game’s launch.
