Dragon’s Dogma 2: Dark Arisen launches October 9, 2026, but the specific pre-order discount suggested by the headline cannot be confirmed from the available offer information. For a clear US price reference, PlayStation lists the expansion at $29.99 and a game-plus-expansion bundle at $49.99; Xbox lists the expansion at $29.99 and the full bundle from $49.99. Those are official storefront prices, not confirmation of a separate retailer discount.
Is there a confirmed pre-order discount?
No discount amount, retailer, platform, or eligible region is established for the deal described in the headline. Green Man Gaming’s page currently reports that the game is unavailable in the visitor’s region; that does not establish availability elsewhere. Check the offer page for your region and platform before buying, and compare its current price and product contents with the official store listing.

A separate June 2026 report about a permanent discount to the base game is not evidence of a discount on the Dark Arisen expansion. The two offers should not be treated as the same deal.
What does Dark Arisen cost in the US storefronts?
The official US listings provide a price comparison, but storefront prices can change. The PlayStation Store lists the expansion add-on at $29.99 and the bundle at $49.99. Xbox lists the expansion at $29.99 and the full bundle from $49.99.
#1 Best Overall
- A Grand Adventure – Dragon’s Dogma 2 begins in a subterranean jail, where the Dragon’s voice echoes in the fog of lost memories. With their heart taken by the Dragon, the Arisen is set on a path to slay that symbol of the world’s destruction as it soars through the sky on massive wings, breathing flames that scorch everything in its path. With the Arisen’s future veiled in mystery, what challenges and triumphs await on the path to their destiny?
- Single-Player Cooperation – Up to three mysterious otherworldly beings, known as Pawns, accompany the Arisen throughout their journey. Pawns create the feeling of a cooperative gameplay experience by offering unique characteristics, skills, and knowledge gained from their experiences with other Arisen.
- Made with RE ENGINE – Capcom’s advanced RE ENGINE produces vividly detailed, high fidelity graphics combined with immersive physics and complex and reactive character AI to create a setting where decisions, and their consequences, come to life.
| Purchase | US listed price | What it includes or requires |
|---|---|---|
| Dark Arisen expansion add-on | $29.99 on PlayStation Store and Xbox Store, as listed in 2026 | Requires Dragon’s Dogma 2 on Xbox; the PlayStation listing presents it as an add-on. |
| Dragon’s Dogma 2: Dark Arisen bundle | $49.99 on PlayStation Store; Xbox lists the full bundle from $49.99, as listed in 2026 | Base game and expansion. The PlayStation bundle also includes the Explorer’s Camping Kit, custom sounds, and Norgan Fashion Set. |
| Dragon’s Dogma 2 standard game | $39.99 on PlayStation Store, as listed in 2026 | Base game only; the expansion is not included. |
If you already own the base game, the $29.99 add-on is the relevant official US comparison. If you do not, compare the bundle price and contents against buying the game and expansion separately. The PlayStation listings show a $10 difference between the listed bundle and add-on prices, but that is a comparison of those listed US prices, not a guarantee of savings across retailers or regions.
Does the expansion require Dragon’s Dogma 2?
Yes for the Xbox standalone add-on: its listing says Dragon’s Dogma 2 is required. The bundle is the option that includes both the base game and expansion. If you are considering a retailer offer, make sure the product is the expansion alone or the complete bundle, rather than assuming the title includes the base game.

What arrives now, and what waits until launch?
Capcom gives October 9, 2026 as Dark Arisen’s launch date. On PlayStation, the bundle listing says the base game and some extras are usable immediately, while the expansion and Norgan Fashion Set become available on October 9. Check the platform’s own listing for the delivery timing of any specific item before placing an order.

Capcom says orders through the Capcom Town Store receive a digital wallpaper bonus and directs buyers to the product page for details. That bonus should not be assumed to apply to pre-orders from other retailers.

What is included in the expansion?
The Xbox listing describes a new northern region called Norgan and a story involving Eir and the Fallen Dragon. It also names relics that unlock weapons and skills, plus 12 Lost Rites dungeon challenges. These are product-description details, not a basis for assuming identical bonus items or availability across storefronts.

How to evaluate an offer before buying
- Confirm the storefront’s country or region and the platform tied to the offer.
- Identify whether the listing is for the expansion add-on or the base-game-and-expansion bundle.
- If buying the add-on, confirm that you own Dragon’s Dogma 2 for that platform; the Xbox listing explicitly requires it.
- Compare the offer’s current price and included items with the official US reference prices above, keeping in mind that prices and availability vary by region and can change.
- Check the stated release and delivery timing: Dark Arisen launches October 9, 2026, and the PlayStation listing says the expansion and Norgan Fashion Set become available then.
Product prices and availability are accurate as of the date/time indicated and are subject to change. Any price and availability information displayed on Amazon at the time of purchase will apply.
