The progression many players call a “cheat” is actually normal quest and faction work. What to do when a search result promises a code
- Check whether the claim identifies a platform, game version and an actual in-game place to enter the code.
- Look for a reproducible button sequence or command rather than a vague promise of “unlimited power.”
- Be cautious with downloads that ask for account credentials, disable security software or replace game files. EA’s official material does not establish that any third-party trainer is required or approved.

Spoiler section: the reported route to the best ending
PowerPyx reports two preparation conditions for the best outcome. First, complete companion quests so that companions reach Hero of the Veilguard status. Second, complete regional quests until every faction has three stars. These are guide-reported conditions, not a checklist published by BioWare.
1. Finish companion questlines
Track each companion’s personal content and continue it as it becomes available. The objective is not simply to raise a visible relationship number; the ending guide specifically describes companions becoming Heroes of the Veilguard. Treat that status as your completion marker.
- Open your quest journal and identify unfinished companion quests.
- Complete the active objective, then check for a newly unlocked follow-up before advancing the main story.
- Repeat until the companion is shown as a Hero of the Veilguard.
- Apply the same check to the rest of the team rather than assuming one completed companion is enough.
Do not infer that a particular romance is required. The ending evidence does not establish that dating a specific companion, reaching bond level 10 or choosing a particular partner unlocks the secret scene.
2. Build every faction to three stars
The second reported requirement concerns regional content. PowerPyx says to complete regional quests until every faction has three stars. That makes this a broad world-content objective, not a single mission to repeat.
- Review each region and faction for available quests.
- Prioritize regional objectives that improve faction strength.
- Recheck the faction display after turning in missions; the target is three stars for each faction.
- Do not enter the finale while a faction remains below that threshold if you are pursuing the reported best outcome.
PowerPyx does not provide a numerical conversion between individual quests and a star, so use the in-game faction display as the authority for your current save.

3. Treat the finale as a point of preparation
Finish the companion and regional work before entering the finale sequence. The reason is practical: the guide’s conditions are completion-based, and late-game story progression can restrict access to earlier activities. Keep a manual save before the final sequence if your platform and play style support multiple saves, but neither EA nor PowerPyx prescribes a particular save system or guarantees that every choice can be reversed.
During the finale, read assignment prompts and dialogue choices carefully. The comparison factors for ending outcomes include companion preparedness, faction strength and finale assignments or choices. Neither EA nor PowerPyx supplies a universal “always select this answer” list, so do not follow an invented button-by-button script.
How the secret ending works
The secret ending is described as a bonus cutscene after the credits, not a separate campaign branch selected from a cheat menu. PowerPyx associates that scene with The Storm Quelled trophy or achievement.
What to expect
- Complete the reported best-ending preparation before the finale.
- Play through the ending sequence and let the credits run.
- Watch for the bonus scene after the credits rather than quitting at the first credit roll.
- Check your trophy or achievement list for The Storm Quelled.
The guide does not establish that the secret scene requires a particular romance, bond level or separate collectible. Adding those requirements would turn speculation into a false checklist. Romance progression: useful, but not a secret-ending code
EA’s romance guide says all seven companions are potential romantic partners. It describes relationship building through flirtatious choices, supportive interactions, companion quests and gifts. Those systems can deepen a playthrough, but PowerPyx’s ending guide does not connect a specific romance to The Storm Quelled or to the best ending.
How to pursue a romance without confusing it with ending preparation

Calling progression requirements “codes”
Quest completion and faction stars do not indicate that a code has been entered. Searching for a nonexistent command can distract you from the content that the ending guide actually identifies.
Stopping after one companion quest
A single completed personal mission is not the same as confirming Hero of the Veilguard status. Check the status for each companion before the finale.

Leaving one faction under three stars
The reported requirement is every faction at three stars. A mostly complete map can still miss the stated threshold if one region remains underdeveloped.

Assuming romance is mandatory
EA documents romance as a separate interaction system. PowerPyx’s ending guide does not prove that a specific partner or relationship level is required for the secret ending.
Treating a guide report as an official guarantee
PowerPyx supplies the detailed conditions; the BioWare/EA material cited here does not provide an authored ending checklist. Patch changes or edge cases could affect behavior, so keep that attribution in mind when troubleshooting a result that differs from the guide.
Platform and product context
EA announced Dragon Age: The Veilguard for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC. That platform information matters when evaluating a “cheat” claim: a button sequence or tool described for one platform should not be assumed to work on another.
