NewTimeSpace reported on October 11, 2026, that Dongshan Precision had passed the Hong Kong Stock Exchange Main Board listing hearing. That is a listing-process milestone; it does not mean the shares have begun trading.
#1 Best Overall
The South China Morning Post reported that the company had received approval from China’s securities regulator, the CSRC, to issue up to 234 million shares in Hong Kong. This is a reported ceiling for the proposed issue, not confirmation that the company will sell the maximum number.
Earlier reports described an October target for opening order books, but the consulted coverage does not establish that bookbuilding opened. The final timetable, allocation and actual proceeds remain unconfirmed. The exchange’s application-proof index includes a filing dated May 19, 2026, but that earlier application proof is not final offer documentation: HKEX application proof.

NewTimeSpace reported that the company entered the optical-transceiver business through its acquisition of Source Photonics, completed in September 2025. The outlet characterized optical transceivers and AI-related data-center PCBs as growth drivers; that is the report’s description, not a confirmed forecast of future performance.
What market context is relevant?
NewTimeSpace, citing CIC, reported that Dongshan ranked third globally among PCB suppliers by 2025 revenue, in a global PCB market valued at US$85.2 billion. The same report placed it seventh among optical-transceiver suppliers, with a 2.9% share of a US$24.5 billion market in 2025. These are reported rankings and market estimates, not terms of the proposed share sale.
For historical Hong Kong market context, Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing reported 71 company listings and HK$88.0 billion raised in Hong Kong in 2024, with fundraising up 90% from 2023. That is a 2024 total, not a measure of Hong Kong IPO activity in 2026.
Rank #4
What is still unconfirmed?
- The final amount Dongshan Precision will seek to raise and the offer price.
- Whether bookbuilding has opened and the confirmed dates for the offer.
- How many shares will ultimately be offered, how they will be allocated and when trading might begin.
- The actual proceeds and how the company will use them.
The reported fundraising range and proposed share ceiling are estimates or limits in accounts published in September and October 2026, not final offer terms. For the deal estimates and reported CSRC approval, see the South China Morning Post report and The Standard’s report citing Bloomberg; for the October 11 hearing status, see NewTimeSpace.
