Who is Domino’s incoming CEO?
Domino’s announced on June 22, 2026, that Joe Jordan would become CEO on October 1, succeeding Russell Weiner. Weiner is set to become Executive Chairman Designate on the same date. Domino’s announcement described Jordan as a leader with experience across the business. Executive Chairman David Brandon said: “Joe is a proven leader whose experience spans virtually every aspect of our business.”

What does the $4.94 billion figure mean?
Entrepreneur reported that Domino’s generated $4.94 billion in revenue in 2025, a 5% increase from 2024. It said U.S. franchise advertising and franchise royalties contributed to that growth. This is the company’s reported revenue, not the total amount customers spent at Domino’s stores worldwide.

The distinction matters because systemwide retail sales include sales made by franchised restaurants, while consolidated company revenue reflects the amounts Domino’s records as revenue. Entrepreneur separately reported more than $20.6 billion in global retail sales over the four quarters ending June 14, 2026. That figure covers a different measure and period; it should not be compared with 2025 revenue as if the two were equivalent. Entrepreneur’s report provides both figures.
What does Jordan reportedly want to change?
Entrepreneur’s October 2, 2026, article attributes its account of Jordan’s plans to The Wall Street Journal. According to that report, Jordan intends to have top executives report directly to him rather than appointing a replacement for his former U.S. president and COO role. The change would remove a management layer.

The same article reports that Jordan wants innovation to have a larger role. It points to a single-serving pizza introduced in August as an example of product experimentation. These are reported plans, not formal company guidance confirmed in Domino’s succession release.

Entrepreneur also reported that Jordan and his nine direct reports discussed long-term direction, including questions such as: “What should the team’s legacy be five years from now? How should employees across the company describe its leadership?” These are questions as reported by Entrepreneur, not independently verified transcript excerpts.

What operating context will he inherit?
Entrepreneur reported U.S. same-store sales growth of 0.1% in the second quarter ended June 14, 2026. It also reported 209 net new store openings during that quarter and more than $20.6 billion in global retail sales over the trailing four quarters ending on June 14. These figures provide context for the leadership transition, but they do not establish what caused the sales result or predict future performance.
For company filings and reported financial results, Domino’s maintains an annual reports and proxy materials index. The $4.94 billion figure discussed above is specifically attributed to Entrepreneur’s reporting.
