So it is fair to say the Neo has control-adjacent lighting, but not to claim that pressing bass makes it pulse, change color, or react in a specific way.
What is the Loewe Neo?
The Neo is a portable Bluetooth speaker, not a soundbar. MusicTech reports a 50-watt rating, an IP67 water- and dust-proof chassis, and dual passive bass radiators. Those are published specifications, not independent measurements.
Coverage describes built-in ambient lighting, including an illuminated side panel and a light bar near the physical controls. The bar can be adjusted on the speaker, while a companion app provides additional sound and lighting customization.
What happens when you press the bass button?
Homecrux describes top-mounted controls for power, lighting, and bass/treble boost, with an interactive light bar beside them that acts as a visual indicator. That supports the presence of a control-related light bar, but does not establish the precise visual effect of pressing the bass control.

T3 also describes a light bar next to the controls, but its reviewer said they did not see the particular feature in action. Neither account establishes that the bar pulses in time with music, changes color when bass is boosted, or provides a specific confirmation signal for a button press. The exact response remains unconfirmed in the cited coverage.
How do the Neo’s sound and lighting controls work?
What Hi-Fi reports physical bass and treble boosters and a light toggle on the speaker. MusicTech says the companion app offers three sound presets, separate bass and treble adjustment, and customizable light settings. These reports indicate that the physical controls provide quick access while the app offers more detailed customization; they do not document the Neo’s exact light-bar response to each adjustment.
