Yes. Once you have downloaded Little Kitty, Big City Mobile and unlocked the full game, you can play its core gameplay offline. You need an internet connection for the initial download and the one-time purchase, but Double Dagger Studio says no connection is required afterward. PC and console saves cannot be transferred to mobile. Trial progress does carry into the full mobile game, while mobile-to-mobile syncing between phones—or between Android and iPhone—has not been confirmed by the official sources.
Does Little Kitty, Big City Mobile work offline?
The developer’s Mobile FAQ gives a direct answer: “Only to download the game and buy the full version. After that, you can play offline!” You therefore need connectivity for setup, but not for ordinary single-player play after the full mobile version has been unlocked. Offline access should be understood as offline gameplay, not a guarantee that every network-dependent function will work without a connection. The official statement does not promise online services, cloud synchronization, account-based restoration, store access, or any other connected feature while your device is offline. If you only want to explore the city, collect items, complete objectives and continue a local save, the developer says you can do that after the download and purchase steps.

What you must do before going offline
Prepare the game while you have a reliable connection. The sequence matters because an uninstalled or trial-only copy cannot be assumed to unlock itself without contacting the relevant app store.

- Check device eligibility. Confirm that your exact iPhone, iPad or Android phone or tablet is supported in the live store listing. The FAQ warns that some Android devices do not meet Google Play requirements.
- Download the mobile app. Install it from the official Google Play listing or the US Apple App Store listing.
- Open the trial while connected. The mobile edition can be tried free. The listings say the trial prompts you to purchase after you collect and turn in 25 Shinies to Crow.
- Complete the one-time unlock. Finish the purchase through the store account used on that device. Mobile is a paid entitlement separate from the PC and console versions.
- Launch and verify the unlocked game. Start the full version before leaving Wi-Fi or mobile data. This gives the app and store a chance to finish the transaction and establish the local game state.
- Test airplane mode if the save matters. With your current progress safely stored, disable connectivity and launch the game once. This is a practical check of your device and installation; it is not a promise that future store or account operations will work offline.
Can you transfer a PC or console save to mobile?
No. The official FAQ answers the question “Can I transfer my PC or console save?” with: “Sorry, saves can’t be transferred.” That is an explicit rejection of PC-to-mobile and console-to-mobile save transfer, so a mobile purchase should be treated as a new mobile save rather than a continuation of an existing desktop or console playthrough.

Does mobile-to-mobile save syncing work?
The available official material does not answer whether a save can move between two mobile devices. It also does not establish whether an Android save can be imported on iOS, or whether an Apple save can be imported on Android. Those are different questions from the confirmed PC and console restriction.
Do not rely on a new phone, a factory reset or a change of operating system until you have checked the current support information for your situation. The store listings describe trial-to-full continuity on mobile, but that only means the local trial progress is retained when the same mobile installation is unlocked. It is not evidence of cloud backup or cross-device synchronization. If a mobile transfer option is added later, its availability may depend on the platform, store account, app version or region; the cited official pages do not currently specify one.

How does the free trial and one-time purchase work?
Both mobile storefronts describe a free trial followed by a single full-game purchase. The trigger described in the listings is collecting and turning in 25 Shinies to Crow. Progress made during that trial carries into the full mobile game after you complete the one-time unlock, so you should not need to restart that mobile playthrough merely because you bought the complete version.
The purchase model has three separate boundaries:
- Trial versus full mobile game: progress carries over on the same mobile game installation after unlocking.
- Mobile versus PC or console: the mobile product is purchased separately, and existing PC or console saves cannot be transferred.
- iPhone versus Android: purchases are separate between the two mobile ecosystems. Buying the iPhone/iPad edition does not establish ownership of the Android edition, and an Android purchase does not establish ownership on Apple devices.
Prices, regional availability and store policies can change. Check the live listing for your country instead of relying on an older price. The Google Play listing displayed an update date of September 22, 2026 when accessed October 13, 2026; the Apple listing also showed recent version history at that time. Those store details are volatile.
Which devices and platforms support the mobile edition?
The developer lists the mobile release for iPhone, iPad and Android phones and tablets. Compatibility is not universal across every device in those categories. In particular, the FAQ warns that some Android hardware does not satisfy Google Play requirements. The US Apple listing provides model-generation compatibility details, but the safest check is always the current listing for your exact device and operating-system version.

The mobile launch date given in the FAQ is October 12, 2026. The FAQ says the release is available everywhere on that date except China, where availability was described as coming later. Regional storefront timing can change, so a missing listing in a particular country does not necessarily indicate a device problem.

The mobile edition uses rebuilt touch controls rather than assuming a desktop keyboard, mouse or console gamepad. Double Dagger Studio’s FAQ says controllers are not supported at this time. If you normally play with a Bluetooth or wired controller, plan to use the on-screen mobile controls instead unless a later update changes that policy.
Mobile also includes an exclusive augmented-reality mode. The store listings state that mobile content and presentation may vary from other platforms, and that AR and camera features require the full-game unlock. Those features may need camera permissions and suitable device hardware, but the cited listings do not provide a universal device-performance guarantee. AR should therefore be treated as a full-version mobile feature, not as a reason to expect parity with the PC or console editions.

Offline play versus cross-platform progress: the important distinction
It is easy to combine two unrelated ideas: “the game works without internet” and “my save follows me everywhere.” The first is confirmed for mobile gameplay after download and purchase. The second is not available for PC or console saves, and mobile-to-mobile support is unconfirmed.

What to do before changing phones or reinstalling
Because the official pages do not document mobile-to-mobile transfer, take a conservative approach before replacing hardware:

- Do not uninstall the game or erase the old phone until you know whether your progress can be restored.
- Keep the old device available if you need to consult the current save or contact support.
- Check the live Google Play or Apple listing and the developer FAQ for any newly documented transfer or backup feature.
These precautions cannot create a transfer mechanism; they reduce the chance of deleting a local save before you know its recovery options.

Offline-play troubleshooting
The game will not start without a connection
First reconnect briefly and confirm that the download completed and the full purchase was processed. Launch the game once online, then retry with airplane mode. If the app was never fully installed or the transaction is pending, offline startup may fail even though the developer supports offline play after setup.
The trial appears after you paid
Verify that the device is using the same Apple or Google account that made the purchase. Reconnect, open the store and the game, and allow the transaction to refresh. Do not buy a second copy immediately; mobile purchases are one-time unlocks, and duplicate transactions may not solve an account or synchronization problem.
Your old PC or console progress is missing
This is expected behavior under the published policy: PC and console saves cannot be transferred to mobile. The mobile edition must be started separately.
A controller does not respond
The FAQ says controller use is not supported at this time. Use the rebuilt touch controls and check for official updates rather than assuming the controller, cable or Bluetooth pairing is defective.
Bottom line for choosing the mobile version
Little Kitty, Big City Mobile is suitable if you want a self-contained phone or tablet version that can be played offline after setup. Buy it with the expectation that mobile is its own purchase and save environment: the free trial carries into the full mobile game, but PC and console saves do not, and official documentation does not confirm transfers between mobile devices or operating systems. Verify your exact device in the current store listing, unlock the game while connected, and test offline launch before relying on it during travel.
