The Fortnite Hollow Knight Bundle is listed at 2,000 V-Bucks, discounted from 2,700 V-Bucks, as of October 9, 2026. Whether that makes it more expensive than Hollow Knight or Hollow Knight: Silksong in cash terms is not settled by the available evidence. A V-Bucks price cannot be read directly against a dollar price. You need the pack you would buy, the platform and region you are buying in, and the price of each game in that same market on the same day. The headline’s cash comparison is therefore unverified.

- The Knight: sidekick
- Hallownest Grub: back bling
- The Knight’s Nail: pickaxe
The same page lists the bundle at 2,000 V-Bucks, with an original price of 2,700 V-Bucks.
Recommended Free Tools
The Knight also has its own Fortnite listing at 1,500 V-Bucks, where it is identified as a sidekick in the Hollow Knight set and bundle. That figure is the price of that one item. It is not the bundle total, and you should not add it to other prices to estimate what the set costs. Use the 2,000 V-Bucks bundle price as the figure for the set.

Epic’s add-ons support documentation notes that some add-ons can become unavailable because of rotation or expiration, so confirm the date in the Fortnite shop before buying rather than relying on this article.
The prices side by side
The table keeps each price in its own unit and market. Only one row carries a dollar figure, and that figure is from a different storefront than the Fortnite listings.

Why the cash comparison is not settled
V-Bucks do not have a fixed dollar value on the bundle page
The bundle shows only its V-Bucks price. To buy it, you must purchase enough V-Bucks to cover the balance, and the cost of that purchase depends on the pack sizes and prices offered in your country. Current pack prices for a specific country were not confirmed for this article, so no dollar figure for the bundle is established here.

Platform and region change how you can buy
Epic’s Fortnite discovery page states that V-Bucks bought through the Epic Games Store cannot be used on Nintendo Switch. Epic’s purchase options support page says that available options vary by platform, region, and content. A Switch player therefore cannot assume that a dollar figure from another storefront applies to their purchase at all.
List prices and sale prices are different numbers
Each side of a fair comparison should use the same price basis. The Silksong figure is a Steam list price in US dollars. The original Hollow Knight price in the same market is not established, and no bundle sale or tax-inclusive total has been confirmed.

How to run the comparison yourself
- Open the Fortnite item shop on your platform and note the bundle’s V-Bucks price and its expiry time in your local time zone.
- Check how many V-Bucks you already hold and subtract that from 2,000 to find the shortfall.
- Find the V-Bucks purchase that covers the shortfall in your country, currency, and storefront, including tax. If you play on Nintendo Switch, confirm that the V-Bucks you buy can be spent on that console before paying.
- Look up Hollow Knight and Hollow Knight: Silksong on the same storefront, in the same currency, and note whether each price is a list or sale price, with the date checked.
- Compare cash to cash, and report the country, platform, date, and price basis alongside the result.
Reader reactions
An October 8, 2026 discussion on r/HollowKnight includes comments such as “it costs 22 dollars” and “more expensive than the games.” These are reader reactions, not verified prices. The dollar figure in those comments should not be treated as the bundle’s cost.
