A Paper Pure Sleeve Folio is formed for Paper Pure, while Paper Pro, Paper Pro Move and reMarkable 2 use their own model-specific folios.
The only possible exception is a genuinely loose, universal sleeve with enough internal room. That is a different fit question from a close-fitting book folio or shell, and the official compatibility information does not certify every generic sleeve.

Why Paper Pure cases are model-specific
A folio is not just a pouch around the tablet. Its interior shape, retaining edges, spine, magnets and protective panels are sized around one device. Even a small change in width, height or thickness can leave the tablet unable to seat correctly, allow it to move inside the cover or prevent the cover from closing.
reMarkable’s own accessory guidance treats the models separately. The Paper Pure Sleeve Folio FAQ says the sleeve is formed to Paper Pure and explains that Paper Pro, Paper Pro Move and reMarkable 2 have their own folios because the tablets have different dimensions. The company’s Book Folio FAQ for Paper Pro Move gives the same general warning and specifically says that a Paper Pro Move folio will not work with Paper Pro or reMarkable 2.

That means a product title naming only “reMarkable,” “10-inch reMarkable” or another model is not enough evidence of compatibility. The listing should identify reMarkable Paper Pure by name.
Published dimensions show why the shapes do not interchange
reMarkable’s comparison information lists these device dimensions:

These are tablet measurements, not measurements of any particular case. They demonstrate the difference in device geometry; they do not prove that a third-party product has been measured or tested against Paper Pure.

Which kinds of cases can and cannot be shared?
Close-fitting book folios
A book-style folio normally has a molded tray, corner retainers or an adhesive mounting surface. It may also have a spine that must line up with the tablet’s edge. Because those parts hold the device in a defined position, a folio made for another model should be treated as incompatible unless the manufacturer explicitly lists Paper Pure.
Using the wrong folio can produce several problems even when the tablet appears to fit at first glance: the tablet may slide toward one edge, a retaining lip may press on the screen, the cover may not fold flat, or the clasp and magnets may sit out of alignment. Do not force the tablet into a tray that requires pressure.
Rigid shells and snap-on covers
Rigid shells depend on exact corner and edge geometry. A shell for Paper Pro Move, for example, cannot be assumed to work on Paper Pure simply because both products are sold as reMarkable tablets. The dimensions published for those two devices are different enough that a shell designed for one is not a reliable substitute for the other.

Loose sleeves and universal pouches
A soft sleeve with no molded interior can be more forgiving. If its internal length, width and depth exceed the Paper Pure dimensions, it may hold the tablet even when it is not branded for a specific model. However, extra room can let the tablet move, and a sleeve that is too tight can put pressure on the edges or screen. Official compatibility statements about shaped folios do not test every universal sleeve, so evaluate this category separately rather than treating it as an approved cross-model fit.

The table distinguishes “designed for” from “might physically hold the device.” A universal sleeve does not provide the positioning, edge protection or closure alignment of a model-specific folio.
How to buy a replacement Paper Pure case
- Confirm the tablet model. Check the device name in your purchase record, account information or the tablet’s settings before searching. Do not rely on a generic phrase such as “new reMarkable.”
- Search the exact model name. Use “reMarkable Paper Pure case” or “reMarkable Paper Pure folio.” Keep “Paper Pure” in the search and in the product page title.
- Read the compatibility line, not only the photographs. The listing should state Paper Pure explicitly. A photograph showing a similar-looking tablet is not a fit guarantee.
- Separate case type from compatibility. Decide whether you need a sleeve, a book-style folio or a rigid shell. A sleeve may tolerate more dimensional variation, while a folio or shell normally requires an exact model match.
- Check the seller’s internal measurements when the product is universal. Compare the sleeve’s usable interior—not its outside dimensions—with Paper Pure’s 228.1 × 187.1 × 6.0 mm device dimensions. Leave practical clearance for seams, padding and any pen or accessory stored in the same compartment.
- Inspect the current specification for closures and storage. If you need a flap, magnetic closure, hand strap or Marker storage, verify that feature in the current listing. Do not infer it from another model’s version of the product.
- Confirm returns before ordering. Third-party stock, names and specifications can change. A return option is especially important when the listing uses broad compatibility language or does not publish internal measurements.
- Test the fit gently on arrival. Place the tablet into the case without bending the cover or pressing on the screen. Check that it sits evenly, does not shift excessively and that the cover closes without force.

reMarkable offers a Paper Pure Sleeve Folio identified as a Paper Pure accessory. Its model-specific design is the clearest compatibility signal available in the supplied product information. Availability and price can change, so check the current official listing in your region before ordering.

Third-party listings identified by community members
A community discussion points to Amazon listings from TiMOVO and MoKo titled for a 10.3-inch Paper Pure case. One participant reported that a TiMOVO case held their Paper Pure. This is anecdotal evidence, not an independent fit test, and current stock, construction and listing details were not independently verified. Treat those products as leads to inspect rather than endorsements.
For any third-party case, verify that the present listing still names Paper Pure. Marketplace sellers sometimes reuse photographs or compatibility text across several tablet generations, so the title, specification table and return terms matter more than a customer image alone.

The tablet will not seat fully
Remove it immediately rather than pushing harder. Compare the case’s stated model with the tablet name and check whether the case has a molded tray intended for another reMarkable model. A mismatch in width, height or thickness is more likely than a manufacturing defect when the listing names a different tablet.

The tablet moves inside a sleeve
Measure the usable interior and look for excess space along more than one edge. A loose pouch may protect against scratches but can allow impact movement in a bag. If the product was sold as a close-fitting folio, contact the seller instead of adding pressure or improvised padding that could press on the display.
The cover does not close or align
Check whether the case is a book folio with a fixed spine or magnetic closure. Misaligned edges or a closure that needs force indicate that the case geometry does not match the tablet. Do not treat a partially closed cover as acceptable protection during transport.
The listing changed after purchase
Save the product page, order details and compatibility wording. If the current page no longer names Paper Pure, use the seller’s return process and explain that the advertised model does not match the device. Recheck the replacement listing before placing a second order.

- Choose the official Paper Pure folio when you want the least ambiguity about model fit.
- Choose a third-party folio or shell only when its current listing explicitly names Paper Pure.
- Consider another model’s case only as a loose universal sleeve, and only after comparing usable interior dimensions and accepting the possibility of movement.
- Do not substitute Paper Pro Move, Paper Pro or reMarkable 2 folios merely because the tablets share the reMarkable name.
The safest shopping check is simple: the product page should say “reMarkable Paper Pure,” and the case should be tested without force as soon as it arrives.
