Peacock lists the series in its catalog, but says its service is available in the United States and certain U.S. territories. Its terms restrict access from outside the United States and allow geographic restrictions to be enforced with location information. Instead, check for a licensed viewing option at your destination. If you are making a temporary trip within the European Union, portability rules may preserve access to a qualifying paid subscription. For travel with unreliable internet, eligible episodes can be downloaded before departure.
The answer depends on where you are traveling
There is no single worldwide rule for Peacock access. The practical answer turns on your destination, the rights for the particular season or episode, your subscription tier, and whether you need live streaming or offline playback.

| Travel situation | Most reliable approach | What the published guidance establishes |
|---|---|---|
| Inside the United States or a listed U.S. territory | Stream through Peacock on a supported device associated with your household | Peacock says a subscriber away from home can still watch on a supported household device; availability still depends on the title and current rights |
| Temporary trip from one EU country to another | Use the qualifying paid online-TV subscription you use at home | EU portability guidance generally preserves the same films and series during temporary travel within the EU |
| Outside the United States and outside the EU portability situation | Find a licensed local streaming, broadcast, or purchase option | Peacock’s published availability and terms do not promise access from these destinations |
| No dependable internet connection | Download eligible episodes before leaving | Premium Plus subscribers can download select content on supported mobile and tablet devices |
A VPN may change the network address a service sees, but that does not create viewing rights, guarantee that Peacock will accept the connection, or ensure that every episode is in the catalog. Peacock’s official pages do not promise VPN access abroad.

First check whether the exact episodes are available
Peacock’s official title page currently lists Law & Order and its season catalog. That listing is not a permanent guarantee. Peacock says content can vary by location, licensing rights, service tier, and time. A page showing the series name therefore does not prove that the season, episode, or language option you want will be playable where you are going.
#1 Best Overall
Check before you leave
- Open the official Law & Order listing while you are still at home.
- Expand the season selector and identify the specific episodes you intend to watch.
- Confirm that your account tier can play those episodes and, if you need offline viewing, that a download icon appears.
- Note any episodes that are scheduled to leave the service or that are unavailable under your plan.
This check is especially important if your goal is “all seasons.” A series-level listing does not establish that every season is present in every territory or at the same time.
Travel within the United States
Domestic travel is different from international travel. Peacock’s household guidance says: “Yes, if you’re away from your home you’ll still be able to watch Peacock on a supported device associated with your household.” In practice, that means a trip from one U.S. state to another can normally use the service under the same account, provided the device is supported and the title remains available.
What to verify on a domestic trip
- Use a device supported by Peacock’s current app or web requirements.
- Sign in with the household account that holds the subscription.
- Check the title page again if the trip is lengthy; catalog rights can change while you are away.
- If you are using hotel, campus, or public Wi-Fi, make sure the network allows video streaming and that you can complete account sign-in.
A VPN is not needed merely because you are away from your home city or state. It can introduce an additional location signal or connection failure without solving a catalog or account problem.
Travel to a U.S. territory
Peacock’s availability guidance lists the United States and certain U.S. territories as service locations. The wording matters: it does not establish that every territory has identical catalogs, playback behavior, or device support. Before departure, verify that your destination is included in Peacock’s current availability information and check the episodes you need.

If the destination is not clearly covered by the published availability guidance, treat access as unconfirmed rather than assuming that a VPN will make it work. A local licensed service may be the safer plan.
Temporary travel within the European Union
EU portability rules create a limited regional exception. Your Europe explains that when you pay for a subscription to an online TV-content provider, you can generally stream and download the same films and television series during temporary travel to another EU country as you can at home.
Conditions and boundaries
- The subscription must be a qualifying paid online-content service.
- The travel must be temporary, not a permanent move of residence.
- The rule concerns travel from one EU country to another within the scope of the portability regulations.
- It does not automatically cover travel outside the EU.
- It does not prove that every subscription arrangement, free service, or account satisfies the legal conditions.
Do not read the EU rule as a worldwide authorization for Peacock access. Confirm that your account and travel pattern qualify, then check the specific episodes before leaving.
Travel outside the United States and outside the EU exception
For destinations that are neither covered by Peacock’s U.S. service territory nor by an applicable temporary EU portability situation, Peacock’s published pages do not promise service access. Its terms say users may not access the service from outside the United States and that geographic restrictions may be enforced using location information.
That is why a VPN should not be your primary travel plan. Even if a connection appears to come from the United States, several independent checks may still affect playback:
- The account’s service territory and terms may not permit the access.
- The particular episode may not be licensed for the destination or account.
- Peacock can identify location through signals other than a simple network address.
- A VPN server can be blocked, overloaded, or unable to support stable video playback.
- Changing a network location does not change your subscription tier or add missing episodes.
The official material cited for this question does not establish that any VPN works with Peacock or that using one to evade a territorial block is authorized. If you are outside the covered territory, look for a licensed local streaming service, broadcaster, or purchase option instead.
Offline viewing before departure
Downloading in advance is the most practical way to avoid dependence on hotel Wi-Fi, aircraft connectivity, or a foreign network. Peacock says Premium Plus subscribers can download select content on supported mobile and tablet devices. The download icon identifies an eligible item.
How to prepare
- On a supported mobile or tablet device, open the Peacock app and sign in to the Premium Plus account.
- Open the Law & Order title page and choose the season and episode you want.
- Tap the download icon for each eligible episode.
- Wait for every download to finish on a trusted Wi-Fi connection.
- Open the app’s download area and start at least one item briefly, if appropriate, to confirm that the file is present and playable.
- Keep the device charged and avoid signing out or deleting the app before travel.
Download limits and expiry
| Rule | Peacock’s stated limit |
|---|---|
| Total downloads for a Premium Plus account | Up to 25 pieces of content across devices at one time |
| After you start watching a downloaded item | Automatically removed after 48 hours |
| Unwatched download | Removed after 30 days, or sooner if the content leaves Peacock |
These figures come from Peacock’s help page accessed October 13, 2026, and the service notes that limits can change. Downloading an episode is therefore not a permanent archive. If you start playback during a long trip, plan around the 48-hour window. If you leave a file untouched, the 30-day limit still applies, and an earlier catalog removal ends access sooner.

A decision path for your trip
- Identify the destination. Is it within the United States, a listed U.S. territory, another EU country during a temporary trip, or somewhere else?
- Confirm the title. Check the exact seasons and episodes, not only the series name.
- Confirm the account. Verify the subscription tier, household association, and whether Premium Plus is required for the downloads you want.
- Choose live or offline playback. Use live streaming only when the destination and connection are covered; download eligible episodes when connectivity is uncertain.
- Prepare a licensed fallback. Outside Peacock’s clearly covered locations, identify a local service or purchase option before departure.
Common problems and what they mean
The series appears, but an episode will not play
The title page may be available while a specific episode is restricted by rights, location, or subscription tier. Check the season list and account plan rather than assuming the network is the cause.
A download button is missing
Only select content is downloadable, and Peacock limits this feature to Premium Plus on supported mobile and tablet devices. A missing icon means that item is not currently eligible under the conditions shown by the app.
A download disappeared
Started downloads expire after 48 hours. Unwatched files expire after 30 days or when the content leaves Peacock, whichever comes first. Downloading again may not help if the episode is no longer offered.

Streaming fails on hotel or public Wi-Fi
Test the connection with another legitimate video service, complete any captive-portal sign-in, and switch to an eligible offline download if available. A VPN can add another point of failure and is not an official fix for an unsupported destination.
You are crossing an international border
Do not assume that access permitted at departure continues at arrival. Recheck the destination category, EU portability eligibility, and local licensing. The U.S. household statement applies to being away from home, not automatically to being outside the United States.
What “where can I watch all seasons?” really requires
There is no destination-independent answer. “All seasons” depends on current licensing, territory, account tier, and time. Peacock’s listing confirms that the series is in its catalog at the time checked, but it does not establish a complete worldwide season set. A legal local option may carry different seasons, and an episode can leave one service while remaining available elsewhere.
For that reason, make a season-by-season checklist before traveling. Mark each episode as available for live playback, eligible for download, or requiring a local alternative. That approach is more reliable than relying on a VPN promise or on the series title alone.

Do not buy or configure a VPN solely on the assumption that it will let you watch Law & Order on Peacock abroad. Within the United States, use a supported household device. During qualifying temporary travel within the EU, portability rules may preserve your paid subscription. Elsewhere, Peacock’s own availability and terms do not promise access, so arrange a licensed local option. For dependable viewing anywhere, download eligible episodes through Premium Plus before you leave and respect the 25-item, 48-hour, and 30-day limits.
