DMart operator Avenue Supermarts reported standalone revenue from operations of ₹19,206.18 crore for Q2 FY2026-27, up 18.4% year on year. The quarter ran from July through September 2026 and ended on September 30. Its reported store count was 518, including one Navi Mumbai location closed to customers for reconstruction.

In an update dated October 3, 2026, Avenue Supermarts Limited said standalone revenue from operations for the quarter ended September 30 was ₹19,206.18 crore. What the 518-store count means
Avenue Supermarts reported 518 stores as of September 30, 2026. That is the reported ending count, not a count of stores open to customers: it includes the Sanpada, Navi Mumbai, store, which was closed for reconstruction. Does the update explain why revenue grew?
No. It reports the revenue comparison and store count but does not identify what drove the 18.4% increase. It provides no basis to attribute the growth to new stores, pricing, customer demand, or any other particular cause.
