If Distill.io checks fail on a Jio connection, the error does not by itself mean Jio is blocking Distill. Start with the monitor’s Check Log, then determine whether the check runs locally on your device or in Distill’s cloud. Those two details point to the right troubleshooting path; the exact cause depends on the error, connection type, and monitor setup.
Start with the Distill Check Log
Open the affected monitor’s Check Log and note the latest error and its details before changing settings. Distill says the last check determines the monitor’s state, and its troubleshooting guide maps errors to different causes and remedies: Distill’s troubleshooting guide.

Do not treat every failure as a DNS problem. An invalid domain, an unexpectedly reset connection, a slow page, access restrictions, and a failed proxy are different issues. The error name helps distinguish them.

Distill can run a check locally on your device or in its cloud. Local checks depend on the device and browser or app being available; cloud checks run on Distill’s servers. Distill describes these differences in its guide to monitoring options.

If the same monitor succeeds on one path but fails on the other, that comparison is useful evidence about the failing check path. It does not prove that Jio is responsible: the target site, authentication, configuration, or network route could also be involved.
Match the error to the fix
E_NOT_FOUND: check the monitor URL and domain
Distill describes this error as a domain that cannot be resolved or is invalid. Check the URL for spelling errors and confirm that the domain is correct. The error alone does not establish that Jio is blocking the site, and changing DNS settings is not a guaranteed remedy.

E_CONNRESET: the connection was reset
Distill associates this error with a connection that was unexpectedly reset, which can relate to the server or the network. Check whether the target page loads from the same device and connection, and whether the error is limited to a local or cloud check. If other internet access also fails, use Jio’s connection diagnostics.

E_TIMEOUT: the page did not load in time
Distill lists several possible causes, including a slow response, cloud rejection of some IP addresses, and limitations loading pages in local background tabs. Identify whether the failing check is local or cloud-based before changing the setup.

A proxy may not work: the proxy itself can be blocked or unable to connect to the target. Use one only when it fits the failure and the page’s access conditions.
E_REQUEST_FORBIDDEN: the target refused access
The page may require a login or cookies, or it may be protected by a firewall or security setting. Verify that the monitor has the necessary authentication and cookies. Distill suggests a proxy for some protected pages, but a proxy is not a promise or authorization to bypass a site’s access controls.

E_PROXY: the selected proxy cannot reach the target
Distill says this can happen, for example, when the proxy’s IP address or location is blocked. If a proxy is genuinely needed, try a different suitable proxy; otherwise, investigate the monitor without one.
Check Jio only when the wider connection is failing
If ordinary browsing or other internet use is also failing, use Jio’s MyJio Run Diagnostics flow. Jio says it can identify and fix many issues involving home internet connectivity, router connection or health, and an existing outage. Jio also provides a general troubleshooting page and a support portal.
Whether you use Jio mobile data or JioFiber matters when narrowing down a particular case, but neither access type alone identifies the cause. The available official guidance does not confirm a Jio-wide Distill block or a Jio-specific compatibility defect.

If the problem persists, collect these details
- The exact Check Log error and its details.
- Whether the monitor runs locally or in Distill’s cloud.
- Whether you are using Jio mobile data or JioFiber.
- Whether other websites and internet services work on that connection.
- Whether the target page requires a login, cookies, or other access conditions.
Use the matching Distill troubleshooting route for monitor-specific errors, or Jio support if broader connectivity is affected. Without the error and check path, there is not enough information to identify an individual cause.
