“Vote in a dreamy contest in the Valleyverse” means vote on DreamSnaps submissions from other players. Open the game’s Events menu, choose DreamSnaps, then select Vote Now when voting is available. Keep voting until the active duty registers its displayed requirement; the count and reward can vary by event.
What the dreamy contest refers to
DreamSnaps is Disney Dreamlight Valley’s recurring photo challenge. Players submit pictures for a weekly theme, then vote on entries from the previous challenge during the following week. The Star Path wording is a reference to this voting activity, not a separate multiplayer contest. Disney’s DreamSnaps overview describes the weekly challenge-and-voting cycle.

How to complete the voting duty
- Open the in-game menu and go to Events.
- Select DreamSnaps.
- Choose Vote Now while voting is open.
- Continue voting until the active duty shows that it is complete.
- Check the duty and event screens for completion and the reward listed for your event.
Use the number shown in your own active duty rather than relying on a guide for a different Star Path. For example, the Pop City Star Path listing for its August 26–September 2, 2026 weekly segment required 20 votes; that dated example is not a universal requirement. The event listing records that instance.

There can be two distinct rewards involved: a general DreamSnaps voting reward and the payout for a Star Path duty. Disney’s official overview says voting can earn an additional 50 Moonstones per challenge. That per-challenge amount is separate from any reward shown for completing a particular Star Path duty; check the live event screen for the latter.

Availability and changed voting details
The exact phrase appears in historical Star Path task lists. Disney’s September 23, 2026 Season of Scares update says weekly Routine Duties are being replaced by Daily Duties, so this particular wording may not be available in the current event cycle. Check the live Events board and your active duties rather than assuming an older task is still active.
The same update describes an updated one-on-one voting interface and a Super Vote option that lets players vote for both presented entries at once. Disney’s June 3, 2026 update removed the limit on skips during DreamSnaps voting. Older guides may therefore show different interface details; follow the prompts in your current game version. If “Vote Now” is missing
- Check the event timing: DreamSnaps voting is available during the voting period after a challenge, not continuously.
- Check the active duty: The historical Star Path phrase may not be part of the live duty list, particularly following the change from weekly Routine Duties to Daily Duties.
- Use the current menu prompts: Interface labels can change with updates, so rely on the in-game Events and DreamSnaps screens if they differ from an older guide.
Disney’s Beginner’s Guide says weekly DreamSnaps themes change on Wednesdays at 1 p.m. UTC. That schedule concerns theme changes; it does not establish that this exact Star Path duty is currently active.
