Most can be completed from their listed clues and item locations; Ghostly Zero’s memory requires four separate days. A further puzzle is listed for October 18 as TBA, and the 2026 event end date is not established.
The Haunted Floating Festival is an island-based event reached through the Plaza portal. The current puzzle guide lists the following solutions as released on October 7, 2026. Its October 18 entry is still marked TBA, so the schedule may change as the event progresses. My Dreamlight Valley’s event listing describes the 2025 run, not the 2026 schedule.

Ghostly Zero Fox: Clawed Foot Tub
Feed a Haunted Skeleton Fish to the roaming ghost fox. The fish can be found beside Zero’s House. The fox gives one memory piece only after its first feeding of the day, so completing the memory takes four separate days; feeding it repeatedly on the same day will not speed this up.

- Collect a Haunted Skeleton Fish beside Zero’s House.
- Feed it to the ghost fox and receive the day’s memory piece.
- Return on three later days and repeat until the memory is complete.
- Use the completed image to locate the hearse, then dig there to claim the Clawed Foot Tub.

Find each book in one room and return it to the specified destination:

- Frightening Flowers by I.M. Skaired: find it in the front room and return it to the hallway.
- The Chilling Cosmos by T. Rick Ortreat: find it in the hallway and return it to the storage room.
- Terrifying Tunes by Major Frite: find it in the storage room and return it to the first bookshelf in the back room.
Completing the resulting memory puzzle awards a Chomping Chest. The guide also says to light the Jack-o’-Lanterns with the Repaired Haunted Key before unlocking the back room.
Bedroom combination
This puzzle requires the Repaired Haunted Key and uses symbol clues displayed inside the house. The available written guide does not identify the symbols in text, so a reliable combination cannot be given here without guessing. Match the symbols shown by the in-game clues rather than relying on an unverified sequence.
Basement door
- Unlock the back room and find the lion statue to the right of the bookstand.
- Use the Pickaxe on the statue, which has a key in its mouth.
- Take the Eerie Basement Door Key to the basement door outside the Haunted House.
- Open the chest inside to receive an Eerie Basement Door.
What is available next?
The current guide lists Puzzle 9 for October 18, 2026, but marks it TBA. It was not available as of October 7, 2026. The 2025 event listing gives dates of October 22 to November 11 for that earlier run only; it does not establish when the 2026 event ends.
