Filters: what can be washed and what cannot
Pre-motor filter

Post-motor HEPA media filter
The post-motor filter is HEPA media and must not be washed. The guide says to tap it clean. Washing this filter would go against the manufacturer’s instructions.
Low suction or thermal cut-out: checks in the manual
If suction drops, the guide directs owners to check for a full or blocked dirt container, dirty filters, a clogged separator, or a blocked hose. Unplug the vacuum before maintenance, emptying the container, or changing attachments. If the motor thermal cut-out trips, unplug the machine, empty the container, check for blockages, clean the filters as directed, and let the vacuum cool.
