The claim that Ubisoft’s Chief Diversity & Inclusion Officer was promoted to Chief AI Enablement Officer is not verified by the available sources. They do not identify the officer, confirm a promotion, or establish when it might have taken effect. Similar titles at other companies do not substantiate a Ubisoft appointment.

What is known about the reported Ubisoft promotion?

No Ubisoft announcement, official leadership page, or other source in the available material confirms that the company’s Chief Diversity & Inclusion Officer received the title Chief AI Enablement Officer. The person’s name, the date of any change, and the responsibilities of the alleged new role are not established.

That is a verification gap, not proof that a promotion did or did not happen. Until a reliable source directly confirms the appointment, it should not be presented as fact.

Why do similar titles elsewhere not confirm the claim?

Two company examples show that “AI Enablement” appears in executive titles outside Ubisoft, but neither concerns a Ubisoft appointment:

  • ServiceNow’s fourth-quarter and full-year 2024 earnings release names Jacqui Canney as Chief People and AI Enablement Officer: ServiceNow’s 2024 results announcement.
  • A Lumen company profile lists a Chief People & AI Enablement Officer and a Chief Diversity & Inclusion Officer as separate management roles: Lumen’s leadership profile.

These examples establish only that similar titles exist at other companies. They do not identify Ubisoft’s officer, demonstrate a change in Ubisoft’s leadership, or explain what such a role would involve there.

What would verify the story?

A reliable account should be grounded in a primary Ubisoft announcement or independently reliable reporting that directly establishes the appointment. It should identify the person and confirm the former and new titles, effective date, responsibilities, reporting line, and Ubisoft’s stated purpose for the role. None of those Ubisoft-specific details is confirmed by the sources cited here.
