The team entered the 0–2 group after a 0–2 loss to NAVI on October 5, and its scheduled October 7 best-of-three against Shopify Rebellion was identified as the pivotal match. The tournament’s official standings page still showed FlyQuest at 0–2 matches and 0–3 games when accessed, so that listing does not establish the later result.
Why FlyQuest’s place in the tournament was at stake
The 2026 Demacia Cup Global Invitational is scheduled for October 3–17. Its rules make the 0–2 group unusual: it is a round robin, not a single direct-elimination match. Teams with two wins advance to the knockout stage; a team with two losses is eliminated unless it finishes first in that round robin. Matches from Swiss Round 2 onward are best-of-three, according to the official tournament page.

That format meant FlyQuest needed to win the group’s round robin to avoid elimination after two losses. The available evidence does not establish the group’s final placing or whether FlyQuest advanced.
FlyQuest’s confirmed result against NAVI
FlyQuest lost 2–0 to NAVI in a best-of-three on October 5. NAVI’s match record lists FlyQuest’s tournament roster as GaKGoS, Gryffinn, Quad, Massu, and Cryogen.

What was scheduled for October 7
The Riot Games LoL Esports schedule listed FlyQuest versus Shopify Rebellion as a Demacia Cup Swiss best-of-three on October 7. A community match discussion additionally reported that FlyQuest had beaten GAM Esports 2–0 earlier that day and described Shopify as the next survival-deciding opponent. That earlier result is secondary reporting here, not a completed official match record.
The official tournament standings page showed FlyQuest at 0–2 matches and 0–3 games when accessed, while the third-party listing still showed FlyQuest–Shopify as scheduled. Those pages do not confirm the outcome of the Shopify match or the final 0–2-group standings. The tournament page lists a $223,500 prize pool for the event, but that figure does not clarify FlyQuest’s result.
