To solve Detective Duck’s Chapter 2 bakery case, follow the item chain from the police car to the grandfather, phone booth, manhole, bakery, garage, storage room and Room 4. The decisive clue is the delivery code 365, revealed with the UV light beneath the Room 4 pillow. Enter it at the bakery delivery panel, then identify Arthur, the Postal Worker, as the culprit.

What The Bakery case is and what you need
The Bakery is the first map in Chapter 2 of the Roblox detective game Detective Duck. It is an item-gated investigation: most locations cannot be completed until an earlier character, clue or tool has been used. Trying to search every room immediately can leave the important interaction prompts unavailable, so keep the sequence below and complete each dependency before moving on.

The game listing describes the map as playable on mobile and supports solo or group play. You do not need a physical magnifying glass, UV lamp, lockpick, ladder or keys; all of those are objects inside the Roblox map. Step-by-step walkthrough
1. Start at the police car and collect the tire-mark clue
Begin beside the police car. Look for the tire marks on the ground and collect or inspect them when the interaction prompt appears. This is the opening evidence item and establishes the investigation before you enter the bakery.
Stay near the police car for the next required action. The game uses it as the analysis station for fingerprints, so returning there after each fingerprint inspection prevents an otherwise easy-to-miss dependency.
2. Find the bakery-door fingerprint
Equip the magnifying glass and examine the door on the bakery side of the street. The fingerprint is not the same as simply opening the door: aim the magnifying-glass interaction at the marked door area and wait for the evidence prompt to complete.

After collecting the print, return to the police car and analyze it there. If the fingerprint does not count later, confirm that you completed this analysis rather than only viewing the mark.
3. Get the coin and the assistance number
Go to the grandfather sitting on the bench and speak with him. He gives you a coin. Nearby, read the sign that displays the city assistance number 12375. Record the number exactly; it is a five-digit call code, not a room code.
Both interactions matter. The coin is the payment item for the phone booth, while the sign supplies the number that makes the call produce the next package.

4. Call 12375 from the phone booth
Take the coin to the phone booth and insert it. Dial 12375 using the booth’s number interface. A successful call triggers Tommy’s arrival with a package.
Collect the package and take the manhole keys from it. If Tommy does not appear, check that you spoke to the grandfather, picked up the coin, inserted it into the booth and entered all five digits in the displayed order.
5. Open the manhole and retrieve the bakery keys
Use the manhole keys at the nearby manhole. Open it and collect the bakery keys inside. These keys are the route to the main bakery entrance; they are not the same as the later building or Room 4 keys.
Unlock the bakery with the keys and enter. Search the accessible areas for the evidence prompts before leaving. The next progression item is obtained through Greg, the angry customer.
6. Trade a donut with Greg for the garage key
Inside the bakery, take a donut and bring it to Greg. Give him the donut through his interaction prompt. In return, Greg provides the garage key.
This exchange is a strict dependency. If Greg’s prompt does not offer the trade, make sure the donut was actually collected from the bakery and that you are carrying it when you speak to him.

7. Search the garage for the lockpick
Use the garage key to enter the garage. Search the garage until you find the lockpick. The lockpick is the tool that opens the bakery storage-room lock; it is not used on the bakery’s main entrance.
Collect it before attempting the storage door. A locked storage room with no interaction response normally means either the garage key was not used or the lockpick has not been picked up.
8. Open the storage room and collect its evidence
Return to the bakery storage room and use the lockpick. Once inside, collect the evidence and suspect information shown by the room’s prompts. Also take the ladder; it is the item that reaches the upper window later in the route.

9. Inspect the freezer fingerprint, then analyze it
Use the magnifying glass on the fingerprint in the freezer. This inspection creates another fingerprint clue. Carry out the second half of the action by returning to the police car and analyzing that fingerprint there.
There are therefore two separate habits to follow: inspect a print at its scene, then process it at the police car. Viewing a print without completing the police-car analysis leaves the evidence chain incomplete.

10. Place the ladder at the upper window
Take the ladder to the upper window above the bakery and use it at the marked spot. Climb through to the room above the bakery. Search this area and collect the building key and the Room 4 key.

The two keys serve different access points. Use the building key where the upper building requires it, then use the Room 4 key to enter Room 4. If a key does not work, check that you are at the matching door rather than trying both keys on the same lock.
11. Reveal the hidden delivery code in Room 4
Inside Room 4, inspect the bed and use the UV light on the paper beneath the pillow. The hidden writing reveals the delivery code 365.
The paper is under the pillow, not simply on top of the bed. Equip the UV light before interacting and wait for the reveal to finish so the code is registered as evidence.
12. Enter 365 at the bakery delivery panel
Return to the bakery and find the delivery panel. Enter 365. This completes the delivery-code portion of the investigation and enables the final accusation sequence.
When the suspect choices appear, accuse Arthur (The Postal Worker). The walkthrough evidence connects Arthur to the delivery record and vehicle or access clues, while the apparent Room 4 lead is described as a setup intended to divert the investigation.

How the clues point to Arthur
The case deliberately separates the apparent location of a clue from the person responsible for the delivery. Room 4 supplies the hidden number, but that room is treated as a false lead rather than the culprit’s identity. The delivery record, together with the vehicle and access clues collected along the route, is what the guides use to identify Arthur, the Postal Worker.
Do not accuse a suspect merely because their name appears in an early room. Finish the evidence collection, reveal the delivery number, submit it at the bakery panel and then choose Arthur in the accusation prompt.
Evidence and completion requirements
Walkthrough sources describe the case as requiring seven evidence pieces. The exact item names or interaction labels can change after a Roblox update, so use the current on-screen prompts as the authority for what still needs to be collected.

- Inspect the bakery-side door fingerprint with the magnifying glass and analyze it at the police car.
- Collect the storage-room evidence and suspect information.
- Inspect the freezer fingerprint with the magnifying glass and analyze it at the police car.
- Reveal the paper’s writing with the UV light in Room 4.
- Submit the revealed delivery code at the bakery panel.
- Complete the final suspect accusation after the evidence prompts are satisfied.

Troubleshooting when the case will not close
The phone call does nothing
- Speak to the grandfather first and confirm the coin entered your inventory.
- Read the nearby sign and enter 12375, including every digit.
- Insert the coin into the phone booth before dialing.
- Wait for the call animation or prompt to finish before leaving the booth.
The bakery or storage door stays locked
- Open the manhole with Tommy’s keys and take the bakery keys from the package.
- Use the bakery keys at the bakery entrance before trying to enter interior rooms.
- Trade the donut to Greg to obtain the garage key.
- Search the garage and pick up the lockpick before returning to storage.
A fingerprint is visible but not counted
Both fingerprint scenes require two interactions. First inspect the bakery-side door or freezer with the magnifying glass. Then return to the police car and run the analysis. Repeat the same order for the other print if the evidence counter remains short.
The upper room cannot be reached
Take the ladder from the storage room and position it at the upper window above the bakery. The ladder interaction is separate from collecting the building and Room 4 keys, so complete the climb and search the room for both keys before attempting Room 4.
The code is rejected
- Use the UV light on the paper beneath the Room 4 pillow first.
- Enter 365, not the phone number 12375.
- Use the bakery delivery panel rather than a door keypad.
- If the panel still rejects it, leave and re-enter the interaction after confirming the UV reveal completed.
The accusation screen is unavailable
Check the evidence counter, complete both police-car fingerprint analyses and verify that 365 was submitted at the delivery panel. If all three checks are complete and the map still does not advance, restart the Roblox session and follow the current prompts again; an update may have changed an interaction label or trigger.

The listing identifies mobile support, so touch controls can be used for the same route. Keep the magnifying glass and UV light selected before approaching their clue locations, and use the interaction button only when the target highlight or prompt appears. On a larger screen, keyboard, mouse or controller input can make item targeting easier, but the map does not require a specific peripheral.
Solo players can complete the chain by carrying each item in order. In a group, assign one player to remember the phone number and code while another checks the police-car analysis station, but do not leave the map until the player carrying a required item has completed its interaction. Shared progress can make it less obvious which teammate triggered a prompt, so verify the evidence counter before the final accusation.
